The cottages at Lochanhully are Scandinavian chalet style with a rustic feel - pine clad and pine finished throughout - double glazed and fully insulated for all year round comfort. Set amidst a large woodland area with ponds and ducks, the chalets are quite privately situated and are reached by paths through the woods.
Lochanhully is an excellent choice for families, with activities for all ages, a daily programme of events and evening entertainment. The Kidz Club provides supervised daytime activities for 5-11 year olds.

Accommodation overview: Commanding superb views of Helmsdale River and the surrounding countryside in a wonderfully remote location, this detached stone cottage (1880) was formerly the shepherd's home, standing in 2000 sq. metres of enclosed land planted with trees and shrubs. Fully renovated, the cottage is compact, well-maintained and comfortably furnished. The bedrooms are small with quite low coombed ceilings. This is 'golden eagle' country and there should be opportunities to spot some of Scotland's rare and varied wildlife. There are lovely walks, river and loch fishing, sea angling at Helmsdale, a 9 hole golf course nearby and even gold panning! Shops 9 miles in Helmsdale.

Accommodation overview: An Talla is a charming seaside cottage situated in the picturesque fishing village of Rockfield. Originally the village gospel hall, from which it takes its Gaelic name, An Talla has been sympathetically and attractively converted and refurbished to provide a high standard of accommodation in a superb location. It is situated right on the waters edge, with gardens leading directly on the sand and shingle beach. With dolphins, porpoises and a wide variety of seabirds spotted directly from the cottage windows it is truly the quintessential seaside holiday cottage. Most of the accommodation is on the ground floor. A bright and spacious lounge opens onto a conservatory-style dining area. The whole room is dominated by the amazing seascapes and lovely mountain scenery beyond. Accommodation overview: Spectacularly situated high above the pretty village of Beauly, this cottage enjoys magnificent views out to the Beauly Firth and Inverness. The property is furnished, equipped and decorated to a very high standard and offers comfortable warm accommodation. There is ample parking, a secure fenced garden with sun-house and a lockable shed for storing bikes. As one double bedroom and bathroom are on the ground floor, it may be suitable for guests with limited mobility.
The pretty village of Beauly is 1.5 miles away - its floral displays have won many awards and there are shops and many good places to eat out. Beauly is very centrally positioned, 14 miles from the Highland capital of Inverness and less than an hours drive from the West Coast. Loch fishing, golf and pony trekking can be arranged locally, for skiing Aviemore is within easy reach, and in summer there are the lovely beaches of the Moray Firth coastline. Local attractions include Glen Ord Distillery and the Moniack Castle Winery, or take a boat trip on Loch Ness for a pleasure boat trip.
