Accommodation overview: The Old Chapel, Swinbrook is a delightful property set on the edge of one of the most sought after villages in the Cotswolds. Overlooking a field with stream and a small country lane this is a tranquil holiday cottage ideal for recharging the batteries and enjoying some beautiful Cotswolds countryside. Originally a chapel, the building has been converted to provide a spacious and thoroughly welcoming living space. There are many period touches throughout, while there are also many modern conveniences to make your stay an enjoyable one. We particularly like the open plan feeling to this cottage as it really gives the sense of space.ACCOMMODATIONEntrance is up 7 steps into the open-plan living area.Kitchen small but fully kitted with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and washer/dryer, with table and chairs.Living Area with two large leather chairs, TV with DVD player, table and side lights. Glazed door (which fully opens) to private terraced garden area with table and chairs. It is possible to sit here and see through the cottage to the fields on the other side.Bathroom with bath, hand held shower, WC and washbasinUpstairs Large Bedroom, vaulted ceiling and large windows make this a real treat. Large double bed and clothes hanging space.OutsideThe cottage is approximately 1.5 miles from The Swan pub which is a popular contemporary spot with good food. Otherwise there is superb walking from the front door.Please No Pets. Babies accepted, but no cot & high chair supplied. No Smokers. Limited mobile phone signal at this cottage. Off street parking. Heating & Electricity included all year round. LocationThe Old Chapel is well placed for holidaying in the area and visiting all the famous Cotswold beauty spots, with easy access to Oxford, Stratford -upon-Avon, Blenheim Palace and Warwick Castle amongst other fascinating places. Accommodation overview: The Coach House is a classic Cotswold property in so many ways. A converted barn (formerly the Coach House to the Vicarage as you'd expect!) it contains many attractive features that give it that traditional and welcoming feel. The huge, spacious living room with a vaulted ceiling, exposed beams, cream washed walls, oak flooring and open fire set the scene perfectly, with the idyllic view towards the village church simply gorgeous. The barn is set in the grounds of one of the finest houses in this village, and within one of the most 'sort-after' Cotswolds villages - Swinbrook. Within walking distance is the popular and highly regarded pub - The Swan. There are many walks from your front door, including one along the Windrush Valley to Burford. This is excellent location and excellent cottage ideal for two or even four with the extra beds available. ACCOMMODATIONEntrance through to enormous living space.Living Room an enormous room with large sofa, two armchairs, open fire, 32'' Flatscreen TV, DVD - exposed beams and oak flooring really add to the feel of this lovely roomDining Area with table and chairs for six peopleKitchen, fully equipped with electric hob, oven and grill, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble drier, dishwasher and microwave.UpstairsBedroom One (absolutely enormous!) with king size zip-and-link bed, which can be separated if preferred, wardrobe and chest of drawers, Ensuite Bathroom with bath, shower over, WC and washbasinThere is a separate bedroom area at the top of the stairs (landing) which has two extra single beds. Each of these beds can be used at an extra cost of £40 each per week or per stay. Please note, that this area does not have private access but does have separate access to the 'Jack & Jill' bathroom.OutsideThere is a large and private walled gravelled area to the front of the property, with a stone paved area looking towards St Mary's church nearby.
