Sympathetically furnished and equipped you will be within the heart of a 38 acre farm next to the 400 year old Jacobean farmhouse. As well as all this you will only be a short drive to the North Somerset coastline with beaches and sheltered coves rugged splendid Exmoor The Blackdown Hills and attractions to suit all tastes. In the evenings relax on the patio area with seating or visit the local pub serving good food which is less than 1 mile away. Farm activities: there is much to see and do on the land with some lovely woodland walks a carp fishing lake and a variety of animals including alpacas sheep Kune Kune pigs goats Shetland ponies and more. The owner will by arrangement organise riding depending on ability. The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: approached via a spiral staircase 2 doubles both with exposed beams and flatscreen TV. Bathroom: en-suite to bedrooms whirlpool style baths with shower over and WC. Separate WC downstairs. Lounge/diner: with woodburner hi-fi iPod docking station flatscreen TV DVD and Freeview. Being only 2 hours from London the cottages make an easy get away from it all holiday location. Visiting one of the many film locations and National Trust properties such as Montacue (Wolf Hall Sense & Sensability) Stourhead (Pride and Prejudice Emma) and Barrington Court (Wolf Hall) are a must and Longleat with its famous Safari Park is great fun for adults and children alike. For those who like a flutter Wincanton Racecourse is just 3 miles away or take the short drive to the south coast with sandy beaches such as Weymouth Lyme Regis Chesil Beach Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door being well worth a visit (all approximately 45 minutes drive). The cottages are both south facing and offer views over the surrounding garden with its small pond to the fields beyond. Early risers have often spotted local wildlife frequent visitors include deer foxes and swallows return every year in summer and the owner s own pets add to the country ambience. Walkers and cyclists are well catered for with circular routes direct from the cottages. If that seems too energetic why not take a short drive to one of the many pubs/restaurants or just sit back relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of this beautiful part of the country. Set three miles equidistant from Dulverton and Bampton, Exebridge offers a most attractive location for those seeking rural tranquillity. Magnificent walking and riding country, with coarse fishing freely available from owners private lake (also used by local anglers). Wimbleball Reservoir offering windsailing and fishing is two miles distant, with trout fishing also available within five minutes walk. Dunster, with its fine castle and reputation as being the "prettiest village on Exmoor", is just a scenic 20 minute drive, whilst the coastal town of Minehead, and further beaches at Blue Anchor Bay and the famously picturesque Weir at Porlock are also easily accessible. The open plan ground floor is spacious with the kitchen overlooking the living space. Upstairs the bedrooms are spacious too, practical, well equipped and furnished for a short or long stay. The owners have made the most of the building and presented it in an 'industrial cool meets Bath charm' style that appealed to us when we inspected the property. This is an unusual property, and we think you'll love it when you stay. The property is located about 15 mins level walk to the centre of Bath (& also v. close to where Bath Rugby Club train!) and on the very edge of a small housing development.
