Nearby are Bath with its Spa and Roman Baths the East Somerset Railway that meanders through the Mendip countryside Longleat and the Dorset coastal town of Lyme Regis. There are several National Trust properties close by and you can enjoy the sports facilities available at Chew Valley Lakes.
