FARMHOUSE OFFERING THREE BEDROOMS EACH WITH EN-SUITE FACILITIES This Grade II listed detached farmhouse with lovely views is set in a rural location and has been renovated to a very high standard. It retains a wealth of original features that will make your stay extremely special. Situated in Wambrook a peaceful unspoilt village in the Blackdown Hills yet centrally located for visiting Somerset Dorset and Devon. You will have a vast choice of walks and cycle routes to enjoy and explore. Chard is 2 miles away and has a wide variety of shops and the town has many interesting buildings and is well served with places to eat and drink. The Jurassic Coast is easily accessible by car and the excellent beaches of Charmouth and Lyme Regis are a 25 minute drive. The village itself has a 12th century church and craft centre which offers pottery and glass blowing as well as a family pub serving good food. You will be well placed to explore the area including Glastonbury with its Tor Abbey Rural Life Museum and the Chalice Well Clarks retail village in Street Cheddar Gorge and Wells the smallest city in England with its wonderful cathedral. The Quantock hills are less than an hour s drive away and a bit further afield is the Exmoor National Park. Also within an hour s drive is the Roman City of Bath with convenient park and ride. There are several sandy and dramatic coastal beaches to the north is Burnham-on-Sea and Weston-Super-Mare and on the south coast Lyme Regis Sidmouth and Torquay. On the Bridgwater/Street/Glastonbury bus route and the perfect place from which to cycle walk on Sedgemoor and for fishing or bird watching from nature reserve hides. The accommodation offers ONE bedroom: twin. Shower room: with WC.
