A short drive from the Somerset coast with beaches at Dunster Minehead and Blue Anchor it is also close to the Devon border giving access to much of North Devon in addition to the range of amenities in Somerset itself. There is a wealth of local attractions for adults and children alike including the marina and wildlife park with its huge pirate ships at Watchet the Norman castle at Dunster windsurfing and sailing on Wimbleball reservoir visit the West Somerset Steam Railway cider farms as well as the spectacular scenery and wildlife on Exmoor itself best seen by taking a short safari. It is approximately 300 years old and is furnished to provide comfortable accommodation with classic character and charm of the original building. Beamed ceilings, large inglenook fireplace with open wood-burning stove and some modern conveniences make this an inexpensive location from which to explore this beautiful area, including the Spa City of Bath. To the front is a small cottage garden and to the rear open fields and country views.
