The holiday cottage, situated on a quiet lane and accessed via a little arch, is an absolute must for anyone wishing to sample this charming and totally unspoilt village. As you would expect there are a couple traditional pubs located moments away around the village squareand a wonderful tearoom. Once a stable, this conversion, retains all the character and feel of the original building, which dates from the 17th century including massive oak beam between the lounge and bedroom, the vaulted ceiling and thick stone walls. Accommodation overview: The Coach House is a spacious, 'loft-like' property situated close to the heart of Bath city centre. The open plan ground floor is spacious with the kitchen overlooking the living space. Upstairs the bedrooms are spacious too, practical, well equipped and furnished for a short or long stay. The owners have made the most of the building and presented it in an 'industrial cool meets Bath charm' style that appealed to us when we inspected the property. This is an unusual property, and we think you'll love it when you stay. The property is located about 15 mins level walk to the centre of Bath (& also v. close to where Bath Rugby Club train!) and on the very edge of a small housing development. The coast of North Devon is only a short drive away with the seaside towns of Lynton Lynmouth Porlock and others. There are excellent coastal walks especially through the Valley of the Rocks and from Heddons Mouth to Woody Bay. Amenities: private parking space immediately outside the cottage. Arrival: 3pm. The detached barn is warm light and comfortable and all situated on one floor offering ONE good size bedroom with king-size bed and views over the Barle Valley. Bathroom: bath with shower attachment and WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: the living area also has views out over the Barle Valley with feature wood panelling and woodburner effect electric fire flatscreen 26 TV DVD and plenty of books. Kitchen area equipped with an electric oven hob fridge with small freezer compartment microwave and washer/dryer.
