Accommodation overview: Clematis Cottage, Freshford nr Bath is a quaint yet basic holiday cottage priced sensitively to reflect the standard. The cottage has a long history dating back over 200 years and is situated in a beautiful and peaceful village just 5 miles from the World Heritage City of Bath. Internally, is presented in a traditional fashion the open plan kitchen dining area particularly appealing, the accommodation is split over three floors. The cottage is situated at the top of a lane and has lovely views across the Freshford Valley and the village itself, where there is a local pub and shop. As you would expect, the location makes it ideal for walks but it is also excellent for access to Bath which is only 10 mins drive away (or if you want to forget the car compltetly, 30 minutes by bus, which stops outside the front door, or 7 minutes by train!)  In our opinion this cottage is a good choice for a family or group looking to travel to Bath, the Southern Cotswolds and many other surrounding attractions and to do so at a very affordable price. Children of all ages welcomed.
