There is a great range of activities in the local area, from gentle strolls to white water rafting and a good selection of unique retail opportunities such as the horn carver on Loch Tay side and the chocolatier in Grandtully. The attractive town of Aberfeldy (3miles) has good shopping, pubs, cafes, restaurants, etc and a Tourist Information Office. Some places of interest within easy reach are historic Castle Menzies, Dewars World of Whisky, the Crannog Center at Loch Tay and the Victorian tourist town of Pitlochry with its Festival Theatre and fish ladder. There is a cafe just 100 meters along the lane at Highland Safaris serving great food. Preferential rates are available to cottage guests for their safaris into the surrounding mountains, off road driving and cycle hire are also available.
