A charming period Cotswold stone cottage nestling in the heart of beautiful Cotswold countryside. This semi-detached cottage is reached by a grass bank, which is part of the village green.
Longborough has delightful views over the Evenlode valley. There are plenty of walks across marvellous countryside, including the Monarch's Way and the Heart of England Way. This peaceful village, which is within a conservation area, has a shop and a traditional pub. Longborough lies between the historic towns of Moreton-in-Marsh and Stow-on-the-Wold, which have quality shops, pubs and restaurants.
Longborough is a good base from which to visit Sezincote gardens, the Cotswold Farm Park, Batsford Arboretum and Falconry Centre and Sudeley Castle. Longborough Festival Opera in late June and July is a worthwhile visit.

Poppy's Cottage, one of four terraced cottages, is situated in a peaceful no-through lane in Baunton village overlooking the picturesque church of St Mary Magdalene. Recently renovated to a very high standard this charming traditional cottage offers an ideal base for exploring the numerous attractions nearby.
The historic town of Cirencester, the capital of the Cotswolds, is a five minute drive away (30 minutes on foot) and has many unique shops and restaurants. Cheltenham, a 20 minute drive, hosts many festivals and the Gold Cup. For walkers there is a wide choice of walks, including the well known Monarch's Way right on the door step.
Other points of interest within easy reach include Westonbirt Arboretum (20 miles), Tetbury (15 miles), Bibury (10 miles), Slad Valley (10 miles) and the Royal Agricultural College (five miles). There are many easily accessible country pubs. An efficient local hire company delivers and collects bicycles direct to the door seven days a week. There are numerous local riding facilities and all types of water sports at South Cerney Water Park (five miles).
Baunton is a quiet, pretty Cotswold village two miles north of Cirencester and approximately one and three quarter hours by car from Central London along the M4 and A419. There is a fast and regular train service from Paddington to Kemble Station, 10 minutes by taxi from Baunton.
Although the village has no pub or shop there is extensive shopping in Cirencester, and the area is served by a wide choice of country and town-centre pubs and restaurants, each with its own character and charm. A popular local country pub, 40 minutes on foot from the cottage along country paths, is the Bathhurst Arms, with buckets of atmosphere and serving good food.
There are extensive opportunities for walking in and around Baunton and for all types of outdoor sports in the immediate locality. South Cerney,10 minutes by car, is a centre for all types of water sports. There are numerous riding schools within easy reach. Talland House is a world-class riding centre, 10 minutes by car from the cottage. Polo is also available at the Cirencester Polo Club (five minutes) and the Long Dole Polo Club (15 minutes).

Rose & Crown House was built in the early C17th as a merchant's house and for most of the C19th and early C20th used as an inn. The building is Grade II listed and is mentioned in Pevsner's the Buildings of England. It has a very period feel and has some panelling and exposed wooden beams throughout.
Chipping Campden is arguably the most attractive of the larger Cotswolds wool villages and the High Street where Rose and Crown House is located was described the the historian Sir George Trevellyan as the most beautiful village street now left in this island. The village has a good range of shops, restaurants and pubs and is a good centre for visiting the Cotswold beauty sports, gardens and Stratford-upon-Avon

Accommodation overview: Lavender Cottage, is situated in a quiet and very beautiful part of the Cotswolds within close to the scenic Coln Valley. Half a mile from the cottage there is a delightful footpath that takes you to the village of Bibury where the famous Arlington Row belonging to the National Trust can be found. The cottage, which is attached to Lilac Cottage (sleeping three), provides a very high standard of self catering accommodation. There is a large enclosed garden laid to lawn and shrubs with a raised patio area. The cottage has ample parking for two cars and there are connecting gates between the two cottages.ACCOMMODATION:Sitting Room with wood burning stove, window seat with beautiful views, comfortable sofa and armchairs, parquet floor with carpet and rugs and colour TV with DVD player. Accommodation overview: The Cottage is a traditional Cotswold stone cottage set in the heart of Moreton in Marsh, (see images), just a short walk from all its appealing amenities. Part of The Cottage dates back to the 17th Century, when it was once a toll keeper's cottage for the Moreton-in-Marsh market! Today the property retains many period features including an inglenook fireplace, beams and flagstone uneven floors(!) and mullion windows, which combined with the modern comforts create a homely holiday cottage. The cottage also has a small, pretty back garden. We feel this cottage represents excellent value for money. There are three living rooms, a huge dining area and a delightful kitchen which altogether make the house ideal for large groups or family gatherings.
