Accommodation overview: The Lodge is a stunning Cotswold holiday cottage located in an idyllic village, mid way between Burford and Cirencester. The cottage retains many classic and attractive features making it a delightful choice for a Cotswold holiday. The owners have overseen the transformation introducing some modern and contemporary features such as a wood burning stove, underfloor heating and Esse range cooker which enhance the appeal of the cottage. The cottage, which is tucked down a 'no through' lane, has a lovely garden, just perfect for outdoor dining. Accommodation overview: The Court House ETC 4 Star, is a charming Grade I listed Stuart garden building from circa 1620. It has been imaginatively converted to provide a chic little cottage for two to four adults in the heart of the beautiful Gloucestershire Cotswolds. Originally, it was a banqueting house or gazebo, but more recently it has become known as the Manor's 'Court House', because here the successive Lords of the Manor of Owlpen would have held their Court Leet or 'Hamilton' - the "trying of their servants and tenants for petty offences"! ACCOMMODATION: Downstairs is the Kitchen and Bathroom, with a little loggia restored as an attractive Dining Room. The glass doors, divided by a simple Tuscan column, frame a view of the East Wing of Owlpen's Manor House.First Floor Please note: reached via a steep, narrow spiral staircase, leading to a Sitting Room in the old Justice Room. Accommodation overview: Mere Coach House is a simply stunning! A large, detached house located down a long drive on the edge of the premium (and quite famous) Cotswolds village of Fairford, it offers just about everything you could wish for when looking for an exclusive holiday home. Inside, the owners have created a very welcoming and stylish yet quirky home with large rooms throughout and four fabulous bedroom suites, each with bathrooms. From our perspective, we found the kitchen/diner the real heart of the house, warm and inviting with its huge Aga, and enjoying superb views across the private gardens and paddock beyond, both of which are perfect for children (and adults of course!) to play ball games. This is one for the family, it is also one for friends too given it's superb layout and location in this historic village. There is little not to like in this house, so we're quite certain you will have a fabulous and memorable holiday here. Accommodation overview: Grist Mill is an early 18th Century watermill hidden at the bottom of the Owlpen valley, deep in the Southern edge of The Cotswolds. It is a 'listed' historic building, completely restored to provide wonderfully unique holiday cottage accommodation. Contemporary in comfort and style, the whole building is like a time warp, with unrivalled character and charm. There are many period features within the property, including beams and period furniture. Outside are the gigantic mill wheel and millpond - a haven for wild life.
