The Manor Barns are a pair of large converted byre's, presented to the very highest standard with a mix of contemporary features and classic Cotswolds touches. It is situated down a quiet lane in a pretty hamlet in the Southern Cotswolds, near to Tetbury, the home to some of the region's finest antique shops! Although the properties are available independently, together they provide superb, spacious accommodation for large get-togethers for up to 19 people. Internally the barns are both open plan and interconnecting, and include an enormous dining table for the all important evening meal! Accommodation overview: Grist Mill is an early 18th Century watermill hidden at the bottom of the Owlpen valley, deep in the Southern edge of The Cotswolds. It is a 'listed' historic building, completely restored to provide wonderfully unique holiday cottage accommodation. Contemporary in comfort and style, the whole building is like a time warp, with unrivalled character and charm. There are many period features within the property, including beams and period furniture. Outside are the gigantic mill wheel and millpond - a haven for wild life. There are a Post Office/village shop, two pubs, a brewery and an arts centre in Uley approx half a mile away.ACCOMMODATION: The ground floor has an entrance hall leading to a large open-plan Kitchen come Dining/Living room, with a snug wood-burning stove. Accommodation overview: Temple Mews (Visit Britain 4 stars) is an absolutely delightful holiday home converted from an old Cotswolds farm building. It is situated in the lovely and traditional Cotswolds' village of Broadwell, itself just 2 miles from the popular market towns of Stow on the Wold and Moreton in Marsh. Internally, the property has been beautifully converted to provide a very high standard of self catering accommodation for up to four people, with much thought given to the provision of modern features to make your stay welcoming and comfortable. The accommodation is located on the first floor of the building (via 10 steps). Externally, it enjoys a very peaceful location, tucked down a quiet and private driveway and overlooks, and use of, an enclosed garden to the rear. A short walk away is the well established Fox Inn, serving food and local ales. In our opinion Temple Mews provides a wonderful country retreat in complete peace and yet within a short distance of two of the Cotswolds most delightful market towns. The Church of St. Paul has part of it's structure dating back to 1086 and has been restored and added to over the years. Renovated to a very exacting standard by its owners, this holiday cottage is an absolute gem with every care taken to ensure that the accommodation is of the highest standard. Externally the cottage is set within the grounds of the owner's home overlooking private gardens with river frontage and rolling Cotswolds Hills beyond. In every resepct this we recommend this self catering cottage. We fell in love with the location the moment we drove through the private gates - it really is the ideal spot for friends or family to relax and unwind and to enjoy the open space that this location affords. Accommodation overview: Asphodel Cottage will take your breath away, without question! Situated in the sleepy village of Tarlton (half way between Cirencester and Tetbury) this thatched cottage is possibly the most romantic cottage we have come across. Dating back over 400 years it was once home a particularly tall shepherd which explains the higher than normal ceilings! Internally the property has been carefully, restored to provide superb self catering accommodation, with many Cotswold charms such as original oak beams, flagstone floors and inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove. The property also has many contemporary touches with quality bed and bedding and a sumptuous bathroom which altogether create a real sense of luxury.
