Located on the edge of a beautiful village and just 7 mins from Moreton in Marsh, there are stunning views creating a fabulous 'away from it all' spot that always has customers returning for more! The cottage is has many character features incl beams and woodburning stove mixed with attractive contemporary touches - all adding to its charm. This detached Cotswold stone house is located on the edge of a little village called Kitebrook itself just 5 minutes from Moreton. Recently renovated and restored, the accommodation is spacious, beautifully furnished and very well equipped. October Cottage is situated in the very pretty Parish of Chalford which lies four miles south east of Stroud on the north side of the River Frome. Situated on the side of Chalford Hill the cottage is approached via a steep narrow lane. In this part of Gloucestershire the Cotswolds are cut by deep gorge-like valleys opening out westward into the Severn plain.
The village has a store where you can purchase fresh produce, the Lavender Bake House coffee shop, a Tesco Express and a fish and chip shop. There are many excellent pubs and restaurants in the area. The award winning Farmers Market at Stroud is on Saturdays.
Minchinhampton has two golf courses which are open to visitors (two miles), Nailsworth ( four miles), the market towns of Tetbury (five) miles and Cirencester (10 miles).
