Accommodation overview: Lower Barn Cottage, Winson is a magnificent Cotswolds holiday cottage set in one of the most delightful and unspoilt villages of the region. Renovated to a very exacting standard by its owners, this holiday cottage is an absolute gem with every care taken to ensure that the accommodation is of the highest standard. Internally the property retains many classic features including an Aga and open fire and is presented in a wonderfully cosy yet modern style that absolutely fits 'the feel' of the cottage. Externally the cottage is set within the grounds of the owner's home overlooking private gardens with river frontage and rolling Cotswolds Hills beyond. In every resepct this we recommend this self catering cottage. We fell in love with the location the moment we drove through the private gates - it really is the ideal spot for friends or family to relax and unwind and to enjoy the open space that this location affords. Internally the property offers modern yet welcoming accommodation with wooden floors, cool colours and contemporary furnishings mixed with large walls of glass that open onto private balconies and decking, perfect for relaxing and dining. An expansive house, it is perfect for a large family, or group of friends with gardens/external space safe for children (gated community) and miles of walks directly from the front door. In our opinion this is a restful and comfortable home, which offers both a perfect escape, and a fine, sociable space. This Cotswolds holiday cottage provides self-catering accommodation with five bedrooms, all of which are en suite.
The local pub the Farriers Arms, serving local ales, is a five-minute walk away, although booking is recommended. The Cotswolds market town of Moreton-in-Marsh with its mainline railway station is three miles distant.
Lower Farm is in an ideal location for an outdoor break in the Cotswolds and for visiting the surrounding areas of Stratford-Upon-Avon, Bourton-on-the-Water, Chipping Campden and Broadway which are all within easy reach.

With easy access to the M5 it is ideally situated for exploring all of the picture perfect Cotswolds while the immediate area provides some great walking and cycling opportunities. A host of attractions within a short drive include Tewkesbury Abbey and Ragley Hall Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Steam Railway Birdland Model Village Sudeley Castle the Motor Heritage Museum the National Waterways Museum and numerous National Trust properties. Cheltenham Shakespeare s Stratford-on-Avon Warwick and Cirencester are also within easy reach along with a plethora of chocolate box pretty villages including Burford Stow-on-the-Wold the Slaughters and Kingham. Slightly further afield but worth a visit is Oxford with is stunning architecture and fabulous museums beautiful Blenheim Place The Cotswold Wildlife Park and the Forest of Dean.
