Longborough's increasingly popular six week Festival Opera in June/July and The Daylesford Organic Farm Shop in Kingham are less than a 15-minute drive away.
Race meetings and golf are all within easy reach. Blenheim Palace at Woodstock, Cheltenham, Oxford, and Stratford-upon-Avon are all within a 35 to 45 minute drive.

Accommodation overview: Grist Mill is an early 18th Century watermill hidden at the bottom of the Owlpen valley, deep in the Southern edge of The Cotswolds. It is a 'listed' historic building, completely restored to provide wonderfully unique holiday cottage accommodation. Contemporary in comfort and style, the whole building is like a time warp, with unrivalled character and charm. There are many period features within the property, including beams and period furniture. Outside are the gigantic mill wheel and millpond - a haven for wild life. There are a Post Office/village shop, two pubs, a brewery and an arts centre in Uley approx half a mile away.ACCOMMODATION: The ground floor has an entrance hall leading to a large open-plan Kitchen come Dining/Living room, with a snug wood-burning stove.
