Fairford is situated on the River Coln 6 miles East of Cirencester and is within easy reach to the many popular towns and villages within the Cotswolds such as Burford Stow-on-the-Wold Bath Badminton Tetbury and Cheltenham which is famous for the races and its literature festival. You can explore the banks of the River Coln as it joins the River Thames which has a wealth of picturesque riverside walks with traditional inns and tea rooms along the way. Visit the quintessential village of Bibury for an afternoon tea or numerous National Trust Houses and gardens. There is racing at Stratford on Avon and Cheltenham which also hosts the Literature Festival.
