Accommodation overview: Reevey Garden Cottage, Visit Britain Four Star Award, is a truly delightful holiday cottage situated in the small village of Kempsford, itself approx 5 miles from Lechlade on Thames. The countryside here is known as the Oxfordshire Cotswolds with many attractive villages nearby, some with gorgeous local pubs and excellent walks. Reevey is a spacious holiday house attached to the owners stunning home, yet set enjoying its own sizeable grounds, incl private parking. All rooms within the cottage are large and welcoming - an ideal choice for families or small groups alike. There are many period features throughout giving the cottage a truly traditional feel, whilst offering all modern conveniences! We particularly like the location and setting of this cottage - along with the Tennis Court and superb vegetable patch! Part of this includes a delightful cottage garden and a large vegetable plot, which leads to the tennis court. This is available for guests to use (by arrangement with the owners) during your stay. The Yurt is a very special holiday home, set in a peaceful location by the owner's fishing lake near the village of Beckford, in the Gloucestershire countryside. This unique property is all open plan, with a double bed, roll-top bath with shower attachment, kitchen area, dining area with lake views and a sitting area with gas fire. The WC is in a separate structure just outside the yurt. There is a hand-built veranda, ideal for relaxing, and guests also have use of the owners' field, hot tub and outdoor swimming pool should they wish. There is off road parking for one car, though please note in bad weather, driving along the track across the field to The Yurt may not be possible. Badger's Lodge is an attractive, stone-built, detached cottage, located in a gated village, within a 450 acre nature reserve, by the Cotswold Water Park in the heart of the Cotswolds. The cottage can sleep four people in three bedrooms - one double with en-suite bathroom and two singles. On the ground floor there is an additional basin/WC. The living accommodation consists of a fitted kitchen and a sitting room with dining area, woodburning stove and doors out to the rear decked area and lawned garden, which has a stream, furniture and a BBQ. Also outside are a number of on site facilities including a seasonal outdoor heated swimming pool, tennis court, children's play area, fishing lake and a water park close by offering water sports. There is off road parking outside the cottage for one car, with further parking on site. With a number of activities on site to keep everyone entertained, and delightful Cotswold towns and villages within easy reach, Badger's Lodge is a great base for a family cottage holiday in the Cotswolds.
