Built in Victorian times our twelve cottages have won many awards including 5 star recognition and the English Tourist Boards Excellence Award. The properties were converted by Mrs. Judy Astor, our proprietor, back in 1992 and have been developed and refurbished over time to reflect our guests' wants and needs.
You should feel that your cottage is your 'home from home' in the Cotswolds and that everything you need to enjoy your stay is provided, from ready chopped and stacked logs for the open fire to high quality crockery and cutlery, from antique furniture to state of the art sound and vision. We seek out the fluffiest of towels and the highest thread count Egyptian cotton bed linen; we welcome you with a basket of local goodies and a bottle of champagne; we relish in all the little personal touches that make a great stay a brilliant one.

The countryside here is known as the Oxfordshire Cotswolds with many attractive villages nearby, some with gorgeous local pubs and excellent walks. Reevey is a spacious holiday house attached to the owners stunning home, yet set enjoying its own sizeable grounds, incl private parking. All rooms within the cottage are large and welcoming - an ideal choice for families or small groups alike. There are many period features throughout giving the cottage a truly traditional feel, whilst offering all modern conveniences! We particularly like the location and setting of this cottage - along with the Tennis Court and superb vegetable patch! Located on Howells Mere and with stunning, far reaching views this is another high quality property in one of the most prestigeous locations on the Cotswold Lakes. Inside the owners have created an amazing, contemporary holiday home, which has clearly been developed with self catering holidays in mind. On the first two floors are the good sized bedrooms most with terrace areas and views towards the water, leading to the top floor - an open plan living space with 360 degree views across the lakes and surrounding countryside. Finally is the 'skydeck' itself - the very top floor with exceptional and interrupted views for miles. Wow! Accommodation overview: The Old Hundred is a rare opportunity to stay in one of the finest Manor houses in the Cotswolds' region. The house is approached via a private tree lined drive with fields on either side. 'Old Hundred' has a wonderful history - Georgian (circa 1711) on the east side, an older wing dating back to mid 15th Century plus an Edwardian addition with the large conservatory.
