Accommodation overview: Lawrence House is a spacious and very welcoming property at the Cotswolds Lakes that certainly excites us here! The property, which is located in a quiet corner of the Lower Mill Village, is a detached home sitting on the banks of a River Thames tributary with views looking towards the lakes beyond. In fact the owner tells us if you like to fish, you can't be better situated - fishing on your own private lake!! This particular holiday cottage has many positive elements as well as its location but in particular it has access to a large and private garden area which sits overlooking the lake and which is exclusive to guests in this cottage! Internally, the owner has maintained the cottage to a high standard and provides a contemporary holiday home ideal for families or small groups alike. Naturally the outdoor facilities, including the outdoor heated pool and tennis court not to mention the endless walks and cycle rides make this a very desirable cottage. This can of course be booked with other cottages located nearby within the Lower Mill Village. Accommodation overview: Thames Cottage is a sweet holiday cottage, set within the popular Lower Mill Village, itself part of the 450 acre Lower Mill Estate privately owned nature reserve. The property, which is semi detached, is a traditionally styled Cotswold Stone cottage which sits on the edge of the development, overlooks a little River Thames stream, while a short walk across the lane in front of the cottage, takes you to the lake, where you can sit and enjoy the view across the lake. There are many activities on offer including an outdoor heated swimming pool and tennis court. The cottage is wonderfully welcoming inside and is perfect for couples looking to getaway to the Cotswolds lakes.ACCOMMODATION (All on one level)Entrance into large Kitchen / Living / Dining room. The Farmhouse is a delightful cottage situated on the edge of the town of Newent, only eight miles from Gloucester and Ross-on-Wye. There is also one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, as well as a family bathroom. Accommodation overview: Heron Cottage is a very good quality holiday cottage, located within the heart of the Cotswold Water Park on the popular Lower Mill Village. The cottage is set in a quiet area of the Lower Mill and enjoys a decking area which looks towards a grassed area and Clearwater Lake beyond. This is a great location for families with superb facilities all within easy reach, but is also ideal for couples who want to relax with some brilliant walks (including the Thames Path) and also a good quality local pub, which is about 15 mins walk away. Internally the property is spacious and well appointed, absolutely ideal for summer and winter months alike, particularly with the french doors for outdoor dining in summer or the woodburning stove for winter. Naturally there is an abundance of nature on your doorstep (often literally!) while for the more adventurous there are the many sporting activities of canoeing, kyaking, sailing to name a few all within a short drive.
