Built in Victorian times our twelve cottages have won many awards including 5 star recognition and the English Tourist Boards Excellence Award. The properties were converted by Mrs. Judy Astor, our proprietor, back in 1992 and have been developed and refurbished over time to reflect our guests' wants and needs.
You should feel that your cottage is your 'home from home' in the Cotswolds and that everything you need to enjoy your stay is provided, from ready chopped and stacked logs for the open fire to high quality crockery and cutlery, from antique furniture to state of the art sound and vision. We seek out the fluffiest of towels and the highest thread count Egyptian cotton bed linen; we welcome you with a basket of local goodies and a bottle of champagne; we relish in all the little personal touches that make a great stay a brilliant one.

Accommodation overview: Number 8 Howell's Mere is simply amazing - a stunning barn with a design that, quite literally, is unique. Situated on a lake with a peaceful view across the water towards other contemporary properties, it has a Scandinavian style with a fabulous decked 'patio-area' which literally sits on the lake! Internally it is presented in an uncluttered style that is both cool and dramatic bringing a modern feel to this beautiful corner of the Cotswolds. As you can tell we love this property. Badger's Lodge is an attractive, stone-built, detached cottage, located in a gated village, within a 450 acre nature reserve, by the Cotswold Water Park in the heart of the Cotswolds. The cottage can sleep four people in three bedrooms - one double with en-suite bathroom and two singles. On the ground floor there is an additional basin/WC. The living accommodation consists of a fitted kitchen and a sitting room with dining area, woodburning stove and doors out to the rear decked area and lawned garden, which has a stream, furniture and a BBQ. Also outside are a number of on site facilities including a seasonal outdoor heated swimming pool, tennis court, children's play area, fishing lake and a water park close by offering water sports. There is off road parking outside the cottage for one car, with further parking on site. With a number of activities on site to keep everyone entertained, and delightful Cotswold towns and villages within easy reach, Badger's Lodge is a great base for a family cottage holiday in the Cotswolds.
