Old School Cottage is a small, detached stone cottage in the unspoilt Windrush Valley, a few miles from Burford.
Asthall is an ideal holiday location, being an idyllic secluded hamlet with a village pub and another inn on the river by Swinbrook, a ten-minute walk away by road or across the fields.
Closer to the cottage in Asthall, just down the lane, is the historic Manor house and church. Asthall Manor was the childhood home of the Mitford sisters.

Accommodation overview: The Piggery is a stunning cottage situated in a simply divine location at the foot of the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. Set in the middle of a large meadow, in the depths of the countryside above the River Severn, The Piggery enjoys complete peace and quiet with some incredible views across classic open countryside. Inside, the cottage has been beautifully restored and has all the modern comforts and conveniences whilst retaining the character of the original building. The accommodation is all on one level which means that it is suitable for those with limited mobility. Village shop has now re-opened (hoorah!) and pub in nearby village - are both a stroll away! Accommodation overview: Mere Coach House is a simply stunning! A large, detached house located down a long drive on the edge of the premium (and quite famous) Cotswolds village of Fairford, it offers just about everything you could wish for when looking for an exclusive holiday home. Inside, the owners have created a very welcoming and stylish yet quirky home with large rooms throughout and four fabulous bedroom suites, each with bathrooms. From our perspective, we found the kitchen/diner the real heart of the house, warm and inviting with its huge Aga, and enjoying superb views across the private gardens and paddock beyond, both of which are perfect for children (and adults of course!) to play ball games. This is one for the family, it is also one for friends too given it's superb layout and location in this historic village. There is little not to like in this house, so we're quite certain you will have a fabulous and memorable holiday here. The house is absolutely perfectly located within one of the Cotswolds' most famous and most popular locations - Bourton on the Water. Internally the house is a good size with well proportioned rooms. Of particular note are the many antique shops in the town plus Royal shopping in the famous Highgrove Shop and at the Duchy's Veg Shed. Tetbury, in our opinion is the one Cotswold town which many people don't know enough of and therefore, often miss the opportunity to see possibly the nicest and most unspoilt town of all in the Cotswolds! Slightly further afield and for the more adventurous are Bath (30 mins) Cheltenham (35 mins) and Oxford (35 mins) along with many other villages and market towns along with National Trust properties and gardens. This location in the southern Cotswolds (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) is amongst the finest the region has to offer.

It is situated in the lovely and traditional Cotswolds' village of Broadwell, itself just 2 miles from the popular market towns of Stow on the Wold and Moreton in Marsh. Internally, the property has been beautifully converted to provide a very high standard of self catering accommodation for up to four people, with much thought given to the provision of modern features to make your stay welcoming and comfortable. The accommodation is located on the first floor of the building (via 10 steps). A truly traditional holiday cottage complete with its beautiful walled garden, located well off the road and with private parking. The property has the feeling of a home rather than a holiday home thanks to the care and attention of the owner who lovingly cares for the garden and house between guests. West Cottage is furnished and decorated in a period style throughout as well as having a log fire in one of the reception rooms! The Cottage is well equipped and is, in our opinion, a classic country cottage for families or small groups hoping to sample a Cotswold experience. We would like to bring to your attention that the cottage does have small rooms and that the stairs are quite steep. These are traditional features but should be taken into consideration.
