Accommodation overview: Lower Barn Cottage, Winson is a magnificent Cotswolds holiday cottage set in one of the most delightful and unspoilt villages of the region. Renovated to a very exacting standard by its owners, this holiday cottage is an absolute gem with every care taken to ensure that the accommodation is of the highest standard. Internally the property retains many classic features including an Aga and open fire and is presented in a wonderfully cosy yet modern style that absolutely fits 'the feel' of the cottage. Externally the cottage is set within the grounds of the owner's home overlooking private gardens with river frontage and rolling Cotswolds Hills beyond. In every resepct this we recommend this self catering cottage. We fell in love with the location the moment we drove through the private gates - it really is the ideal spot for friends or family to relax and unwind and to enjoy the open space that this location affords. Colt Horse Cottage is 8 miles from Cirencester, 15 miles from Cheltenham, 25 miles from Oxford and 30 miles from Stratford upon Avon. Many famous Cotswolds villages are within twenty minutes by car such as Stow on the Wold, Bourotn on the Water, The Slaughters, The Swells and The Barringtons. The famous gardens of Kiftsgate and Hidcote are about 40 mins away, not far from the delightful town of Chipping Campden. Westonbirt Arboretum is 40 mins to the south - there are of course many locals gardens that are open during the season!

Accommodation overview: Woodwells Cottage, rated 4 stars by the English Toursit Board, is as perfect example of peace, tranquility and picturesque surroundings as any cottage either in Owlpen or anywhere else in The Cotswolds. This detached house, is set on the edge of a small woods, surrounded by the beautiful countryside off a small country lane - this is is a real cottage hideaway! The house which is a traditional Cotswold style with good size rooms (rather than open plan) which give it a sense 'swallows-and-amazons'! We say this is as remote as you can get from the twentieth century in Southern England! Woodwells is a picturesque farmhouse built in 1877, set in the midst of a sunny clearing of wooded hills and at the end of the meadows. The house is utterly charming and an ideal family holiday home or place for friends to get together.ACCOMMODATION: A porch leads to the front hall. Elegant Dining Room, seating six comfortably. Accommodation overview: Asphodel Cottage will take your breath away, without question! Situated in the sleepy village of Tarlton (half way between Cirencester and Tetbury) this thatched cottage is possibly the most romantic cottage we have come across. Dating back over 400 years it was once home a particularly tall shepherd which explains the higher than normal ceilings! Internally the property has been carefully, restored to provide superb self catering accommodation, with many Cotswold charms such as original oak beams, flagstone floors and inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove. The property also has many contemporary touches with quality bed and bedding and a sumptuous bathroom which altogether create a real sense of luxury. The cottage has a delightful garden with superb views across Cotswold countryside with the source of the River Thames just a short walk away.
