Accommodation overview: The Court House ETC 4 Star, is a charming Grade I listed Stuart garden building from circa 1620. It has been imaginatively converted to provide a chic little cottage for two to four adults in the heart of the beautiful Gloucestershire Cotswolds. Originally, it was a banqueting house or gazebo, but more recently it has become known as the Manor's 'Court House', because here the successive Lords of the Manor of Owlpen would have held their Court Leet or 'Hamilton' - the "trying of their servants and tenants for petty offences"! ACCOMMODATION: Downstairs is the Kitchen and Bathroom, with a little loggia restored as an attractive Dining Room. The glass doors, divided by a simple Tuscan column, frame a view of the East Wing of Owlpen's Manor House.First Floor Please note: reached via a steep, narrow spiral staircase, leading to a Sitting Room in the old Justice Room. Main Bedroom with double bed (and a basin) beyond.Second floor (via steep narrow staircase.)Bedroom Two, with a four foot double bed. From this bedroom there is 'The Oval Birds Eye Window' which enjoys a delightful view towards Uley, whose church spire can just be seen among the trees below the summit of Uley Bury.In addition there are also twin beds under the eaves which are suitable for small/young children.Central heating and electricity included all year around. Ample parking at cottage.Please note: Friday or Monday changeover The property is screened to the east by some beautiful yew trees, known affectionately and locally as 'the ballroom'. The Court House enjoys its own sun terrace and garden to the west - complete with its unique baroque sundial on the wall. Accommodation overview: 3 The Bank is an absolutely perfect holiday cottage - the complete, quintessential Cotswold Country Cottage set in one of the Cotswolds' most perfect villages. The house, which is the middle part of an historic building, is split over four floors and is presented in a very attractive style, retaining all the charm of this beautiful old building. We loved it when we inspected it! Particularly appealing factors are the large bedrooms and the lovely living room. The location within the village is perfect - tucked down a little, no-through lane. There is a lovely little village pub moments away serving a good local pint. Collectively the cottage has plenty to offer, we see it appealing to families as much as it will to the 'weekend breakers'. Grist Mill is an historic building on the Owlpen Estate near Uley. The cottage has a twin and a four poster double on the first floor, and on the second floor, a king-size double and a twin. There are two bathrooms. Downstairs is an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove. Outside is off road parking and a front lawned garden with furniture. Grist Mill makes a wonderful family base, full of character and comfort.

Bellhouse is a characterful, spacious rambling house with comfortable accommodation. It is in a glorious, quiet and very secluded setting with plenty of opportunities for long walks. The boundaries of the garden and woodland abut Woodchester Park, owned by the National Trust, and from the house it is possible to walk for miles without crossing a road,hearing a car or seeing more than a handful of people. Wildlife abounds around the five ornamental lakes which run through the Park. The Cotswold Way passes nearby.
The house itself forms the south-west wing of Woodchester Park House, a Grade II listed building. It dates back to the 1860s and retains many original features. Bellhouse's garden is attractive and private. A courtyard and a further patio area provide sun traps for outdoor sitting and eating. A large lawn surrounded by mature shrubs and trees is good for children's games. (Parents beware two ponds are separated off by a low fence). The garden is also enjoyed by foxes and badgers. The badgers are often spotted at dusk when they come for peanuts.
The Rose and Crown in Nympsfield is a 20-minute walk. Nailsworth, just three miles away, has a deli to die forand the best ever local bakery and coffee shop.
Cheltenham, Bath and Cirencester are all within 30 minutes' drive. The Gatcombe and Badminton Horse Trials are each within 20 minutes. For gardeners, Westonbirt Arboretum, Rodmarton Manor and Abbey House Gardens, Malmesbury are close. For music lovers, the annual Tetbury Music Festival is 15 minutes away. Slimbridge Wetland Centre, Berkeley Castle, Cattle Country, the Cotswold Water Park and the Bristol Gliding club are also within half an hour's drive.

The owners have created a very welcoming holiday cottage which is absolutely ideal for families or two couples. Situated on the edge of the owners grounds, the cottage enjoys a private location overlooking fields in one direction and the tennis court in another, with the beautiful Cotswold hills in the distance. Internally the cottage is presented to a very high standard with good consideration given by the owners to ensuring that guests have a thoroughly enjoyable stay.
