The two bedrooms – a double and a twin – both have sloping ceilings and velux windows, while downstairs is the family shower room. The living accommodation comprises a well-equipped kitchen with dining area, and a sitting room with a woodburner. Outside is off road parking for two cars, and there is a private unfenced garden area with furniture. The Medway towns of Chatham and Rochester are within easy reach, as are many NT and English Heritage properties, the shopping centre of Bluewater, and even the capital city, London, making The Cottage an ideal base for relaxing or sightseeing.

The houses really are off the beaten track - with the private lane meandering through woodland and fields for about a mile. Fabulous views from the patio across the large pond, (fully fenced and gated) with dinghy and tree house for guests use, plus walks across the rolling meadows or through the woodsl .
