Accommodation overview: Whimbrel is an enchanting Grade II listed cottage situated in the village of Wingham surrounded by lovely countryside close to Canterbury and the coastal towns of Deal and Sandwich. Whimbrel is set back from the High Street in walking distance to all the amenities of the village but in a peaceful setting with a surprisingly large garden. The Wingham Wildlife Park is within walking distance and Howletts Wild Animal Park is a short drive away. Wingham is exceptionally blessed with many historic buildings and pubs and there is a regular bus service to the centre of Canterbury. Manor Farmhouse in Milstead, Kent provides luxury self catering holiday accommodation and comprises of three buildings. The main farmhouse is a traditional 15th Century thatched timber framed holiday retreat accommodating 7 guests along with 2 other characterful properties: Stable Cottage with accommodation for 6 guests and The Barn with accommodation for 5 guests which also contains the leisure complex.
The holiday rental is situated in the midst of the charming village of Milstead in Kent, nestled between the Church of St Mary and the Holy Cross, the Manor House and the village cricket green. The holiday retreat is only three miles from the town of Sittingbourne, Faversham is close by and a little further takes you to the popular coastal town of Whitstable and the cathedral city of Canterbury.
