Accommodation overview: Heron Cottage is a large house set in six acres of grounds surrounded by unspoilt countryside, it is situated between the ancient village of Biddenden and Sissinghurst Castle, about ten miles from Ashford and five miles from Headcorn station with frequent trains to London. As it is a Bed & Breakfast establishment in summer, all seven bedrooms have TVs and modern en-suite bathrooms except one which has use of the family bath and shower rooms. Available for family gatherings for birthdays, anniversaries or even weddings - mainly in the winter months when it is warm and cosy with central heating and wood burner. Notes: Children of all ages are welcome but must be supervised due to the stream and pond in the grounds. The Byre is a detached, converted farm building set within 80 acres of land, one mile from the village of Smeeth in Kent. This cottage sleeps four people and has one king-size double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The cottage also has an open plan living area with kitchen, breakfast bar, dining area and sitting area with sofa bed. Outside there is an enclosed, lawned garden with patio, furniture and barbecue, along with shared use of the owners' swimming pool, fields, woods and fishing lake. The cottage also offers many facilities for guests to enjoy by prior arrangement with the owner.
