The Farmhouse is a delightful cottage situated on the edge of the town of Newent, only eight miles from Gloucester and Ross-on-Wye. This cottage sleeps ten people and has four bedrooms consisting of two family bedrooms with a double and single bed, one of which has an en-suite bathroom. There is also one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, as well as a family bathroom. The rest of the cottage is made up of a kitchen with dining area, dining room and a sitting room with woodburning stove. Outside, there is an enclosed garden with furniture and BBQ, a shared outdoor heated swimming pool and a shared tennis court. Accommodation overview: STUNNING DETACHED FARMHOUSE IN DELIGHTFUL RURAL LOCATION This beautiful house has been lovingly developed and owned by the same family for a number of generations. With easy access to the M5 it is ideally situated for exploring all of the picture perfect Cotswolds while the immediate area provides some great walking and cycling opportunities. A host of attractions within a short drive include Tewkesbury Abbey and Ragley Hall Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Steam Railway Birdland Model Village Sudeley Castle the Motor Heritage Museum the National Waterways Museum and numerous National Trust properties. Cheltenham Shakespeare s Stratford-on-Avon Warwick and Cirencester are also within easy reach along with a plethora of chocolate box pretty villages including Burford Stow-on-the-Wold the Slaughters and Kingham. Slightly further afield but worth a visit is Oxford with is stunning architecture and fabulous museums beautiful Blenheim Place The Cotswold Wildlife Park and the Forest of Dean.
