Accommodation overview: Elm Barn is one of three barn conversions on the edge of Sea Palling; an impressive floating walk way connects the two first floor bedrooms, and original beams and feature flint walls have been retained. With its lovely sandy beach and traditional seaside atmosphere, Sea Palling is a perfect location for a coastal holiday. On a summer's day you may like a swim in the sea, a cycle ride through the country lanes, a boat trip on the nearby Broads or a visit to one of the many attractions close by. In winter what better than an invigorating walk along the beach followed by a warming drink inside your cosy cottage. The village has a shop, post office and two pubs. The village of Guist offers visitors the chance to enjoy a countryside holiday within easy reach of the splendid North Norfolk Coast. The popular town of Wells-next-the-Sea is just fourteen miles away and has a lovely sandy beach, backed by pine woods. There are many places to visit in the area as well as excellent walks along quiet lanes and footpaths. Accommodation overview: Sherfield Cottage, dating back to the 17th century, is set in a large secluded garden on the edge of the Snape Marshes nature reserve. Retaining many period features, the cottage is within easy walking distance of the Village pubs and shop. Snape is best known as the venue for the Aldeburgh Festival and for other events throughout the year held in the Maltings Concert Hall. However, the pretty village, at the head of the tidal estuary, is a popular holiday venue in its own right and central for exploring the unique area of the Suffolk Heritage Coast - the tidal estuary and network of footpaths are one of the most interesting areas of Suffolk for exploring on foot. There is easy access to the fascinating coastal town of Aldeburgh, plus castles and much more to explore at Framlingham and Orford. The burial treasures at Sutton Hoo, near Woodbridge, should not be missed either. Southwold Denes - Southwold Denes stretches from Gun Hill to the harbour's mouth and acts as a vital sea defence for the town. Suffolk Coast and Heaths (to whom our customer's £1 booking donation goes) are working with several agencies to restore and maintain the important area. It is the home of skylarks and little terns (please be careful not to disturb the nests) and the habitat of sea holly, sea pea and bird's foot trefoil to name a few. Quarryside is a delightful detached cottage in the hamlet of Muckton Bottom near to Muckton village on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, just four miles from Louth. With two bedrooms on the ground floor (one double and one family room, both with ensuite bathrooms) this cottage can sleep five people. The living accommodation is on the first floor and consists of an open plan living area with sloping ceilings encompassing a fitted kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area. To the outside of the cottage is off road parking for two cars, a private garden with outdoor furniture and a BBQ. Due to its location near to a "chalk cliff side", only babes in arms and children over ten are accepted.
