Russett Bramley comprises two of ten luxury lodges in the peaceful, idyllic surroundings of Constable Country, near Stoke by Nayland in Suffolk. They're perfect for romantic escapes, cosy family and friends reunions and golf and spa breaks for six guests. Spacious and bright, each of the two floors offers a large open-plan living, kitchen and dining area which features floor-to-ceiling windows at one end, with patio doors leading out onto large balconies looking out over the beautiful Suffolk countryside - just perfect for a leisurely breakfast or BBQ, a spot of sunbathing or perhaps an evening cocktail or two as the sun goes down. On the ground floor there are two spacious en suite double bedrooms, and on the first floor there is a luxurious penthouse en suite bedroom with high ceilings and chandelier. Each of the three bedrooms offer zip and link beds which can either be twins, or can be zipped together to make a super king-size bed.
Up to ten Lodges here – offering a total of 16 double en suite bedrooms - can also be booked together for much larger groups of up to 32 guests. These are all within a five minutes’ drive of the nearby outstanding facilities at the family-owned Stoke by Nayland Hotel, Golf & Spa. There is a Lodge Porter on hand at all times to transport you to the hotel should you wish to indulge in a spa treatment, tone up in the Technogym, play a round or two of golf, or treat yourself to a meal in the onsite 2 AA Rosette restaurant, without being concerned about drinking and driving - it’s all so easy. You can even have one of the Hotel’s Chefs prepare a bespoke menu and serve it to you in the comfort and privacy of your lodge if you really want to treat yourselves! Friston is a small tranquil village situated in a quiet area of Suffolk, within easy reach of many interesting locations, to make your holiday enjoyable. The old town of Aldeburgh with its beach and fishing boats, cinema, museum summer theatre, shops and restaurants, and Leiston with its leisure centre/pool, cinema and museum are about 4 miles away. As is Snape Maltings, which has shopping/galleries, and the concert hall. Thorpeness has its own laid back style and boating mere, is approximately 5 miles . Countryside with good, interesting walks is all around, of note are Dunwich heath, Minsmere bird reserve, and Rendlesham forest , Southwold, Walberswick, Orford and Woodbridge all are within 25 miles drive. 1 Chequers Row is on the end of a terrace of four houses which was built about 20 years ago, but is designed to look like a terrace of period cottages. It has an east/south facing garden with a walnut tree that gives dappled shade. It is a peaceful retreat with no parking worries and is within easy reach of interesting days out. This Cromer holiday home is extremely well equipped, maintained to a very high standard and is in a great location to explore Cromer and beyond. Cromer is a traditional seaside resort with a cliff-top setting and wide sandy beaches running down to the sea. It is famous for its fishing boats that still work off the shore and offer freshly caught seafood. The town has a fine pier, a local history museum, a new lifeboat museum, a golf course, multi-screen cinema, Amazonia zoo, indoor children's play barn, Kart Track, cycle hire, shops and restaurants as well as seafront entertainment, making it ideal for a family holiday. Cromer church tower is the tallest in Norfolk and the more adventurous might like to climb to the top to enjoy the wonderful views.

The pretty Broadland village of Dilham lies in the centre of a conversation area, thirteen miles North East of Norwich. This is an ideal area from which to explore the unspoilt countryside and waterways of the Broads. Boats and canoes are available for hire nearby at Wayford Bridge, Wroxham and Potter Heigham and The Museum of the Broads at nearby Stalham Staithe is well worth a visit. A little further afield you can explore the beautiful beaches of the Norfolk coast or the vibrant cathedral city of Norwich where you will find a huge selection of places to eat, theatres and galleries. 1 & 2 Brick Kiln Barns are two charming single storey adjoining cottages based on the footprint of an ancient brick moulding barn in the pretty village of Dilham. They stand to the rear of the owner's property overlooking open farmland; the area is perfect for bird watching with several RSPB reserves in the vicinity. Guests are welcome to relax on the lawns and you can use the canoe launching site into a quiet branch of the River Ant, however the fishing rights are reserved for the local kingfishers and the occasional otter.
