For those looking for a more lively pace of life, Hunstanton is also only five miles away and there are many other attractions close by which are well worth a visit. 3 New England Cottages is tastefully furnished and offers good-sized accommodation on the outskirts of Sedgeford village. Formerly a railway worker's cottage, it is in a peaceful and rural location and yet only a short drive to the beaches of North and West Norfolk. Within walking distance of the property is a small sports club offering a gym, tennis and squash facilities which can be enjoyed on a book-and-pay-basis. Surrounded by quiet roads and countryside, it is in an ideal spot for walking, cycling and bird watching. Pink footed geese can often be seen from the upstairs windows in their season. Accommodation overview: Rosstyn House is a spacious, delightful property over three storeys, with sea views from most of the rooms. In a central location with the seaside resort of Hunstanton it offers an ideal opportunity to experience a traditional seaside holiday. Hunstanton is a popular traditional seaside town, with a long sandy beach backed by distinctive striped cliffs. There are reminders of its Victorian origins including the promenade, the large green and the attractive esplanade gardens. Hunstanton town offers a host of activities for the family including a Sea Life Centre, a fun fair, tennis courts, bowling green and a sports and leisure centre with indoor swimming pool, crazy golf and pitch & putt course. A little further along is quieter Old Hunstanton, which is a picturesque village with mellow carrstone houses, an impressive medieval church and a championship golf course, there is also a new eighteen hole golf course at nearby Heacham Manor. The nature reserves at Scolt Head, Titchwell and Holme Dunes are just a short distance away. The coastal footpaths in the area are great for walking and bird-watching. The Royal Sandringham Estate is approximately eight miles away, a wonderful day out with its cycling, walking and picnic opportunities.
