The Tower Cottage is situated in a large formal and ancient woodland, in a secluded part of the grounds of the owner's 18th century tower, which was once a hunting lodge.
The paths, wildlife, snowdrops and bluebells of the private 10-acre woodland can be enjoyed by guests - it is one of Norfolk's finest bluebell woods.
The cottage is light and airy, with its high sitting room ceiling, but also warming and cosy with wonderful views of the gardens. Far away from any road, surrounded by fields and woodland, the peace and calm of the cottage and its stunning setting are much appreciated by guests.
A mile from the village of Briningham, the town of Holt is just four miles away; Blakeney and Morston Quays seven miles; and the fine beaches at Holkham, Wells and Sheringham are 10 miles.

Accommodation overview: A well equipped former fisherman's cottage within easy reach of the beach and the sea. Aldeburgh and the surrounding area has inspired many authors and poets in the past but the most famous son of the town is Benjamin Britten who founded the Aldeburgh Music Festival which now has worldwide acclaim and is held every year in June at Snape Maltings. Fishermen still pull their colourful boats up on the shingle beach and sell fresh fish from the picturesque huts. The wide, mainly Georgian high street has many attractive buildings whilst the seafront properties all have commanding views of the beach and the North Sea. Boating is popular on the nearby Alde estuary where a large variety of yachts can be seen at summer weekends. Trains can be found at Saxmundham 6 miles away. Regular buses depart for Saxmundham, Leiston and Woodbridge from Aldeburgh High Street. Accommodation overview: Starlings is a traditional Suffolk detached cottage, attractively decorated and furnished to a high standard. The main high street of Yoxford has an interesting and pleasing mix of architecture dating from the 14th century right up to the 20th century. Taking its name from the ford over the river, Yoxford is known locally as 'the garden of Suffolk' because of its setting between two stretches of parkland. Its good location slightly off the A12, make it a good holiday destination for visiting Southwold, Aldeburgh, Dunwich, and Minsmere. In August, Yoxford holds an Art Festival with actors, poets, musicians and exhibitions. Starlings is a traditional Suffolk detached house, attractively decorated and furnished to a high standard. Reydon is only divided from Southwold by Buss Creek, a narrow stretch of water where the fishing boats (busses) of long ago used to tie up. The coastal village of Stiffkey is set in An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and has one of the richest salt marshes for wildlife in the country, providing excellent opportunities for both ornithology and walking. The sandy beaches at Holkham and Wells are just four miles along the coast and sailing is available at nearby Morston and Blakeney. Stiffkey has a shop and a pub which serves food, with further amenities available in the lovely Georgian town of Holt, which is seven miles away.
