Accommodation overview: A very comfortable cottage in a quiet rural location yet close to the many local attractions and the market town of Dereham, the owners heated indoor swimming pool is available May-Sept. North Tuddenham is a small village set in the heart of rural Norfolk. It is a peaceful location and makes a perfect base from which to tour the county. The Cathedral city of Norwich is only fourteen miles away, the shopping is excellent, restaurants are numerous and there is a great cafe and bistro's atmosphere. The beaches of North Norfolk and the East coast are all within an easy drive, while the market town of Dereham is three miles away where you will find a good range of shops, cinema, swimming pool and ten-pin bowling. Pound End is attached to the owner's farmhouse, situated in a quiet and rural location yet only three miles from the market town of Dereham which has some very good family attractions and a local market twice a week This is a working farm, the family makes one of Norfolk's famous brands of ice cream using the produce from their Holstein dairy herd. The property offers spacious and well equipped accommodation and is ideal for families or couples who like walking and cycling activities. The owner's swimming pool is available to guests during the months of May-September and guests enjoy exclusive use during the day. Norfolk's Dinosaur park and Pensthorpe Nature Reserve are both easily accessible. Shop: 4 miles Pub: short walk

Access is from the main garden via gates which have been designed to be child proof. Children should be supervised at all times when using the water garden.

Heating: Central heating to all rooms is fuelled by an environmentally friendly bio-mass system.
Also Provided: Towels. Two stair gates, Wi-Fi and telephone for incoming and local calls. Large basket of logs and kindling for the wood burner; further supplies are available from the owner or can be sourced locally. Travel Cot.
Pets: Two very well-behaved dogs are welcome. The owners have provided a double external kennel and pet bed. Please bring your own blankets. You are requested to keep your pets off the furniture at all times and ensure that they are kept out of all the bedrooms. The garden is fenced and hedged, but not fully dog proof.
Notes: Guests enjoy the exclusive use of the indoor pool, sauna/steam room and tennis court for a minimum of one hour a day. Time of use is by mutual agreement with the owner on arrival. You are requested to bring your own swimming towels. Tennis court available by arrangement. Please bring your own racquets and balls.
