Accommodation overview: Eves Cottage sits in the centre of the village next door to the owner's home. Well presented and comfortable, it is a good base for exploring the surrounding countryside and coast. Great Massingham is a very pretty country village with traditional flint cottages overlooking the village green and ponds. The village is well placed for enjoying the numerous attractions of the area, and is within easy reach of the North Norfolk Coast. This is a great area for walking and cycling with The Peddars Way and an abundance of quiet lanes nearby. The area is also superb for bird and nature lovers with Titchwell and Heacham reserves a short distance away. The Royal Estate at Sandringham is approximately five miles away as are the wide sandy beaches of Hunstanton and Brancaster. Eves Cottage sits in the centre of the village and is attached to the owner's own home. The duck pond is one of the counties most photographed and is almost on the doorstep. It is a great place to sit and watch the world go by or fish with a day ticket in the season. The local pub is well known for serving good food, and you will need to book for the Sunday roast! Accommodation overview: Hunny is a very comfortable property which is well equipped and close to the beach and town centre. Hunstanton is a popular traditional seaside town, with a long sandy beach backed by distinctive striped cliffs. There are reminders of its Victorian origins including the promenade, the large green and the attractive esplanade gardens. Hunstanton town offers a host of activities for the family including a Sea Life Centre, a fun fair, tennis courts, bowling green and a sports and leisure centre with indoor swimming pool, crazy golf and pitch & putt course. A little further along is quieter Old Hunstanton, which is a picturesque village with mellow carrstone houses, an impressive medieval church and a championship golf course. The nature reserves at Scolt Head, Titchwell and Holme Dunes are just a short distance away. The coastal footpaths in the area are great for walking and bird watching opportunities. The Royal Sandringham Estate is approximately eight miles away, a wonderful day out with its cycling, walking and picnic opportunities. Accommodation overview: The Hay House is an attractive conversion on a small family owned working farm. Thursford is located midway between the towns of Fakenham and Holt and only six miles from Wells-next-the-Sea. It is an excellent location for a holiday, offering visitors the chance to enjoy the peace and quiet of a rural setting but also providing easy access to the many attractions in the area. The village is best known for the Thursford Collection, but is also home to Thursford Wood, a medieval wood pasture containing some of the oldest trees in the country. West Somerton is a small Broadland village tucked into a quiet corner of East Norfolk, super for all bird-watching enthusiasts! Accommodation overview: One of four very well appointed cottages offering sympathetically restored accommodation with use of a large recreation barn. Happisburgh (pronounced Haisbro) is a seaside village on the North East Coast of Norfolk, famous for its red and white lighthouse. It offers visitors a quiet, rural location, sandy beaches and cliff-top walks. The village has a post office/store and a traditional coaching inn, and is within a 15-minute drive of the market towns of North Walsham and Stalham with easy access to the Norfolk Broads and many other tourist attractions. In past years, Church Farm has been a favoured holiday location for famous artists such as Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth, Ben Nicholson and Ivon Hitchens, keen to relax in a rural idyll. The large grain barn and stables have been sympathetically converted to retain character and create four beautiful cottages, which all have exposed flint walls and old beams. There is a large recreation barn (9am-8pm) offering a racket sports area, a pool table, table tennis table and a comfortable seating area with books and games.
