The pleasant village of Snettisham offers something for everyone, whatever your age and whatever the weather! The beach is less than three miles and, with the traditional seaside resort of Hunstanton five miles away, it is a perfect location for discovering Norfolk's splendid coastline. Ornithologists will enjoy the RSPB reserves close by and there are many excellent walks and cycle rides in the area. There are many attractions offering excellent days out nearby. Accommodation overview: Seascape is ideal for a relaxing family holiday, being in a quiet street near the centre of Mundesley but only a five minute walk away from the lovely sandy beach. The village of Mundesley is an excellent location for a seaside holiday. It has a wonderful wide beach backed by a small promenade and a good range of shops, pubs and restaurants. Some may enjoy a dip in the sea or perhaps just the chance to relax and enjoy the view, whilst children will love to play on the golden sands. There is a golf course and driving range in the village with both horse riding and sea fishing available locally. Historic houses, steam trains, water sports and nature reserves are all within a short drive.
Seascape is ideal for a relaxing family holiday, being in a quiet street near the centre of Mundesley but only a five minute walk away from the lovely sandy beach. Accommodation overview: Very attractive cottage, maintained to a high standard with a lovely enclosed garden. Fakenham is one of Norfolk's traditional country towns, which has a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants and three supermarkets. It has hosted a weekly market since 1250, and although the goods provided for sale may have changed somewhat, together with the auction it still provides a very popular day out for bargain hunters! The town also has a cinema and a ten-pin bowling alley as well as a National Hunt racecourse. Fakenham is just ten miles from the sandy beach at Holkham, two miles from Pensthorpe Nature Reserve, as featured in the BBC Springwatch nature programme, and two miles from The Hawk and Owl Trust at Sculthorpe.
The Cottage is a beautifully presented holiday cottage, which retains much of its original character, including pamment floors and original fireplaces.
