Accommodation overview: A great property, spacious and comfortable on the outskirts of this popular village, with the benefit of a garden and parking. The coast at Wells and Holkham is just minutes away. Little and Great Walsingham are only a mile apart and you would think by the names that Great would be larger than Little! This is not the case! Both villages are surrounded by lovely, undulating countryside between the picturesque Glaven Valley and the North Norfolk Coast. The sandy beaches of Wells and Holkham are a short distance away. Little Walsingham is the more historic of the two, has an excellent and award-winning farm shop, numerous cafes, a renowned fish & chip shop which is a well- kept secret, and pubs and restaurants. Great Walsingham has a craft centre with shops and tea room. Cycle Routes 1 & 2 are on the doorstop and will take you to the coastal villages of Cley, Salthouse and Weybourne. Osprey Cottage was built two years ago in a traditional Norfolk style. The property is spacious and well equipped, and is within walking distance of the centre of historic Little Walsingham. Accommodation overview: Woodside Cottage is set in beautiful countryside between the villages of Thurgarton and Sustead. It is a Victorian brick cottage set in a large, secluded garden with views over the surrounding farmland. Thurgarton is situated in rural North Norfolk where the countryside is criss-crossed with quiet lanes for riding a horse or bicycle, and walkers can enjoy the nearby Weavers Way. It is a perfect location for a get-away-from-it-all holiday yet still offers easy access to all of Norfolk's attractions. The traditional seaside resorts of Sheringham and Cromer with their sandy beaches and rock pools are approximately six miles away, or a little further west is the enormous stretch of sand and dunes at Holkham Bay. There are several National Trust properties to visit and Norwich boasts a fine cathedral as well as restaurants, theatres and galleries. The meandering waterways of the Norfolk Broads are only a short drive away.

Banningham is three miles from the historic market town of Aylsham, which is served by good shopping facilities and restaurants. There are many National Trust properties in the surrounding area including Blickling Hall (four miles), which hosts an exciting international programme of open air concerts, both classical and pop, throughout the summer months. Felbrigg Hall is 10 miles away with its stunning gardens renowned for its rhododendrons and azaleas.
The popular Georgian towns of Holt and Burnham Market, with their boutiques and antique shops, are within easy reach, with the beautiful beaches of the Norfolk coast only 15 minutes' drive away. The Coach House is perfectly situated for family holidays - visit the seals at Blakeney, the Dinosaur Park at Lenwade, or the children's adventure park Bewilderwood, which is only 15 minutes away. A miniature railway line links Aylsham and Wroxham, giving perfect access to a family day on the Broads.
The Coach House is ideally placed to explore the beautfiul Norfolk countryside with easy access to the Norfolk Wildlife Trust Reserves at Hickling Broad, Ranworth and Cley Marshes. The beach at Holkham always feels deserted and if you are lucky you may see the Household Cavalry there during the summer while the horses are on their holidays - just perfect.
