Accommodation overview: Newly renovated with a modern interior, the cottage offers river views and on-site fishing Situated on the banks of the River Nar, the village of Narborough is located between the historic market towns of Swaffham and King's Lynn, both of which provide good shopping, pubs and restaurants. It is eighteen miles from the seaside resort of Hunstanton, with the bird reserves along the North West Coast also close by. There is excellent fishing at Narborough Trout Farm and Pentney Lakes. The village has shops and a Chinese restaurant with further facilities available in Swaffham, five miles away.
These three cottages are part of a terrace that was formerly used to accommodate the barge horses and watermen who worked the River Nar. Renovated with modern interiors, the cottages offer river views and on-site fishing - license required, on the owner's riverbank and lake. Accommodation overview: Attractively presented modern Wroxham cottage in waterside location. Wroxham, at the very heart of Broadland, is an excellent location for fishing, sailing and bird watching. The River Bure divides Wroxham and Hoveton with the two villages commonly called Wroxham, one of the major boat hire centres of the Norfolk Broads. It is home to the Bure Valley Railway, Wroxham Barns and Roys, 'the biggest village store in the world'. Day boat hire and sailing tuition as well as a quality golf course are all also close by. It is also just seven miles from Norwich, with the sandy beaches of the East coast within a twenty minute drive.
