Accommodation overview: Janerio is a brilliant base for a family holiday, only a five minute walk from the sandy beach and there is a lovely garden to relax in at the end of the day The village of Mundesley is an excellent location for a seaside holiday. Mundesley has a wonderful clean, wide beach and a good range of shops, pubs and restaurants. Some may enjoy a dip in the sea or perhaps just the chance to relax and enjoy the view, whilst children will love to play on the golden sands. There is a golf course and driving range in the village with both horse riding and sea fishing available locally. Historic houses, steam trains, water sports and nature reserves are all within a short drive.
Janeiro is an end terrace former fisherman's cottage that has been carefully renovated and extended providing spacious accommodation which is perfect for families. There is a good size garden and private off-road parking. The well-known beach is less than five minutes away on foot as are all the local amenities in the pretty village of Mundesley. Situated on the banks of the River Nar, the village of Narborough is located between the historic market towns of Swaffham and King's Lynn, both of which provide good shopping, pubs and restaurants. It is eighteen miles from the seaside resort of Hunstanton, with the bird reserves along the North West Coast also close by. There is excellent fishing at Narborough Trout Farm and Pentney Lakes. These three cottages are part of a terrace that was formerly used to accommodate the barge horses and watermen who worked the River Nar. Renovated with modern interiors, the cottages offer river views and on-site fishing - licence required, on the owner's riverbank and lake.
