Accommodation overview: Little Barn, ETB 4 stars, is a wonderful renovated stone barn which faces South overlooking farm fields. Detached from the main village in a peaceful and secluded valley surrounded by oak trees, Little Barn is a popular holiday cottage which has been converted to a high specification. Exposed beams and solid pine doors and furniture, with flagstone floors downstairs and fitted carpets upstairs create a rich, cosy property with a welcoming ambience. From the cottage, there is a large secure courtyard facing south with large pots of flowers and garden furniture. Ascott is a small peaceful hamlet about half a mile beyond Whichford. ACCOMMODATION: Excellent Kitchen / Dining Room with a high ceiling and exposed beams, fully fitted and equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven and hob, fridge (freezer in outhouse), microwave. Hallway to Sitting Room with comfortable sofas and armchairs, TV and DVD Player. Off the hallway is a spacious curtained recess with a sofa bed for two extra people if required. This can also be used as a quiet reading area. Upstairs: Bedroom One, double bedroom with 5ft bed. Bedroom Two, with two single beds. Bathroom with bath, power shower over bath, WC and washbasin. Accommodation overview: Church Cottage, Burford is one of those unique holiday cottages which come along only once in a while! Located in the heart of the beautiful Cotswold town of Burford, and right next to the famous 14th/15th Century church (described as the finest in Oxfordshire) this classic Cotswold cottage has everything to make your holiday truly enjoyable. Internally the cottage has been recently refurbished and provides a holiday home with character, charm and style: light, airy and comfortable, with hints of the 'Art-Deco' period when the house was built. Externally the house has an enviable location at the end of a no-through lane and overlooking the church. There is a very pretty, enclosed garden and (of course) the cottage is only a few minutes walk from restaurants and shops too. The property, which has been within the same family for generations, has been carefully renovated with a real attention to detail and a delightful art deco 'twist' maikng it unique and very appealing. The accommodation, which is detached and across two floors is both spacious and cosy at the same time and overlooks the garden in all directions.
