Hunter Court is a luxury holiday house set in the idyllic Cotswold village of Clanfield. This substantial home is very spacious, and is tastefully decorated with a relaxed, family home feel.
The five acre property comprises two fields (often with sheep) and a walled garden of approximately half an acre.
The self-catering holiday retreat is a two minute walk from two cosy 17th century pubs with excellent food and roaring log fires. Clanfield is an ideal location for an outdoor break in Oxfordshire with plenty of walks as well as cycling, fishing and boating (the Thames is only two miles away). Burford is eight miles away, Oxford 21 miles and Cirencester 18 miles.
Heathrow Airport can be reached in an hour and 10 minutes and the nearest train stations are Oxford (21 miles) and Didcot (22 miles), Charlbury (16 miles) and Swindon (17 miles).

Accommodation overview: Ryeworth Cottage, Kingham is an exceptional Cotswold Holiday Cottage set in one of the areas most desirable and attractive villages, roughly equi-distant between Burford and Chipping Norton. The village has everything you could want for a Cotswolds' break, including award winning pubs and a comprehensive local store. It has many excellent walks surrounding it, but perhaps of great appeal to some is the convenience of the Daylesford Organic (described in The Telegraph as 'the UK's poshest shop'!!) The cottage, which is semi detached, is a simply stunning holiday home spread across four floors with spacious rooms throughout. The large welcoming living space, plus the three bathrooms (for three bedrooms) make this a thoroughly attractive option. However and perhaps most amazing, if this is possible, is the swimming pool and steam room (Turkish Hammam) which are of the highest quality and for guests' use. In addition and on request, is a tennis court. This holiday cottage really has it all and is suitable for customers who expect the very best in self catering accommodation. The living accommodation comprises a fitted kitchen, utility and sitting room with open fire and dining area. Outside, there is off road parking for two cars and a gravelled garden area with furniture. Guests also have shared use of the owner's heated outdoor swimming pool and tennis court. Accommodation overview: Landgate Cottage is a well located holiday cottage situated moments from the Market Square in Stow. The cottage is a very good size for four people, but has the advantage of an extra bed if a fifth person wishes to travel*. The living room is particularly attractive with great views across the well tended (but of course!) allotments and fields beyond. The cottage also has two bathrooms which also make it suitable for two couples just as much for a family. Accommodation overview: The Lodge at Holycombe is a unique Cotswold holiday cottage set on the edge of the beautiful village of Whichford. Nestling amongst six acres of land, the property is an ideal retreat away from the stresses of hectic life in the city! Holycombe itself is set in a wooded valley where a natural stream rises from a holy well in the nearby wood, passes though the grounds and down a waterfall. (The sound of running water adds to the sense of peace and tranquillity.) A coppice provides shady outdoor space; there's a campfire area and a large stone circle on the castle site. Across a meadow is the ancient Whichford wood with many rare species of trees and plants, an abundance of wood anemones, primroses and bluebells in spring; chestnuts, blackberries and sloes in autumn. Wildlife abounds: everything from Muntjack to polecats and kingfishers. Set in six acres, Holycombe is built in the grounds of a Norman Castle, and has a water-filled moat, habitat for carp and dragonflies. Sally and Andy Birtwell rescued the site from 40 years of being a scrap yard, dedicating 6 years of their life to the restoration. They have built a beautiful house and garden to honour the sacred landscape. Archaeologists have excavated a Roman conduit carrying water from the springs in the wood to the site and dowsers and geomancers have suggested it was a sacred site before Roman the occupation. Accommodation overview: Tew Cottage is probably what we all imagine when thinking of a classic Cotswold cottage - a gorgeous building under a thatched roof with period features everywhere: large open fire, beams, flagstone floor and a magnificent 2 acre garden all within a short stroll of a (world renowned) village and pub. It doesn't get much better than this. The cottage, which dates back over 250 years, and is owned by one of the world's leading photographers is presented in a traditional and period style that sits perfectly in this location. There is an open plan living space, very much the heart of the home, with accommodation split across three floors. It is, in our opinion, just as suitable for families as it is for a groups of friends who want to sample one of England's finest locations. Outside there is a large rolling garden with swings and two lakes (which the owners regularly swim in!!) plus a separate thatched building used as playroom. Direct from the cottage there is also a private seating area which is a perfect sun trap. Accommodation overview: The Coach House is a classic Cotswold property in so many ways. A converted barn (formerly the Coach House to the Vicarage as you'd expect!) it contains many attractive features that give it that traditional and welcoming feel. The huge, spacious living room with a vaulted ceiling, exposed beams, cream washed walls, oak flooring and open fire set the scene perfectly, with the idyllic view towards the village church simply gorgeous. The barn is set in the grounds of one of the finest houses in this village, and within one of the most 'sort-after' Cotswolds villages - Swinbrook. Within walking distance is the popular and highly regarded pub - The Swan. There are many walks from your front door, including one along the Windrush Valley to Burford. This is excellent location and excellent cottage ideal for two or even four with the extra beds available.
