Accommodation overview: Talbot Cottage is a very high standard of self catering accommodation, situated in the heart of Stow on the Wold. The property, which has been within the same family for generations, has been carefully renovated with a real attention to detail and a delightful art deco 'twist' maikng it unique and very appealing. Many of the original features such as the wooden floors have been beautifully retained. The accommodation, which is detached and across two floors is both spacious and cosy at the same time and overlooks the garden in all directions. Outside is a large garden with ample off street parking. For the more active there are excellent walks directly from your door including the Old Minster Lovell Hall (English Heritage). Detached from the main village in a peaceful and secluded valley surrounded by oak trees, Little Barn is a popular holiday cottage which has been converted to a high specification. Exposed beams and solid pine doors and furniture, with flagstone floors downstairs and fitted carpets upstairs create a rich, cosy property with a welcoming ambience. From the cottage, there is a large secure courtyard facing south with large pots of flowers and garden furniture. Ascott is a small peaceful hamlet about half a mile beyond Whichford. ACCOMMODATION: Excellent Kitchen / Dining Room with a high ceiling and exposed beams, fully fitted and equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven and hob, fridge (freezer in outhouse), microwave. Accommodation overview: Rectory Cottage, Alvescot is a truly classic Cotswolds cottage built in traditional stone under a Cotswold tile roof, but presented in a beautifully cool and contemporary style that makes it a stunning option for groups or families of up to 10 people. Set overlooking fields and surrounded by period Cotswold properties this delightful holiday cottage offers a very high standard of self catering accommodation. Internally, the owners have created a stunning home, which while contemporary it retains a wealth of period features that give a real sense of warmth and 'welcome'. The accommodation, which is set over three floors and with good size rooms throughout, has many period features through out. Including flagstone flooring, beams and mullion windows but of particular appeal is the kitchen which is, as they say, 'where the heart is': a gorgeous light room with a vaulted ceiling and Aga. When we visited the property we came away with the wow factor very much in our minds, we're confident that you'll feel just the same when you walk through the door too!
