Accommodation overview: Rectory Cottage, Alvescot is a truly classic Cotswolds cottage built in traditional stone under a Cotswold tile roof, but presented in a beautifully cool and contemporary style that makes it a stunning option for groups or families of up to 10 people. Set overlooking fields and surrounded by period Cotswold properties this delightful holiday cottage offers a very high standard of self catering accommodation. Internally, the owners have created a stunning home, which while contemporary it retains a wealth of period features that give a real sense of warmth and 'welcome'. The accommodation, which is set over three floors and with good size rooms throughout, has many period features through out. Including flagstone flooring, beams and mullion windows but of particular appeal is the kitchen which is, as they say, 'where the heart is': a gorgeous light room with a vaulted ceiling and Aga. When we visited the property we came away with the wow factor very much in our minds, we're confident that you'll feel just the same when you walk through the door too! Accommodation overview: Landgate Cottage is a well located holiday cottage situated moments from the Market Square in Stow. The cottage is a very good size for four people, but has the advantage of an extra bed if a fifth person wishes to travel*. The living room is particularly attractive with great views across the well tended (but of course!) allotments and fields beyond. The cottage also has two bathrooms which also make it suitable for two couples just as much for a family. Accommodation overview: Tithe Barn, Lyneham is a very large and spacious barn conversion that is a great choice for a family country holiday. Set on a working farm within a small Cotswolds hamlet, the barn has nearby access to the rolling countryside of the Oxfordshire Cotswolds. The open plan living that the owners have created make it a real treat and clearly ideal for entertaining. Internally the barn has been carefully renovated and provides superb facilities and touches including the enormous windows in the centre of the building, which we feel will make it a firm favourite with customers. Located in one of the Cotswolds' premier villages, Kingham, this absolutely gorgeous cottage has access to some superb facilities including an amazing indoor pool, Turkish bath and tennis court. Internally, the cottage which is semi detached, has been developed to provide customers the very best standard in self catering accommodation with spacious living accommodation, three good size bedrooms with three bathrooms. Kingham roughly equi-distant between Burford and Chipping Norton is a village which has everything you could need, including award winning pubs and a comprehensive local store, there are also excellent walks surrounding it, but perhaps of great appeal to some is the convenience of the Daylesford Organic (described in The Telegraph as 'the UK's poshest shop'!!) All this plus the most amazing, indoor swimming pool and steam room (Turkish Hammam) which are of the highest quality and for guests' use. Located next door to Ryeworth Cottage (Ref: RYE) this cottage has everything you could wish for and is suitable for customers who expect the very best in self catering accommodation. Accommodation overview: Hillside Cottage is a charming character cottage, situated in an absolutely beautiful Cotswolds village, about 3 miles from the popular market town of Chipping Norton. The cottage, which is built in traditional stone, enjoys an elevated and very peaceful position overlooking rolling countryside with nothing but trees, village roof tops and fields in the distance! The village has a weekend farm shop which sells good quality local produce. The cottage is totally detached down a quiet track with off-street parking and a wonderful private garden. Inside, the cottage really is a haven of olde England, boasting antique furniture, period beams, an open fire in the sitting room with many books and an ever popular AGA. In our opinion this cottage offers good value for money in a truly idyllic spot!Get local, organic food delivered to your door including vegetables, eggs, ice cream, yoghurt, home made bread and cakes and ready prepared home made meals!
