The cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms - one double and one twin and there is a bathroom with bath, separate shower, basin and WC, along with a ground floor cloakroom with basin and WC. The living accommodation comprises a fitted kitchen, utility and sitting room with open fire and dining area. Outside, there is off road parking for two cars and a gravelled garden area with furniture. Guests also have shared use of the owner's heated outdoor swimming pool and tennis court. With the village pub close by, on the river, and with historic Oxford within easy reach, Dutton House makes a great base for a break in the Cotswolds.

The village not only has mainline train services to London and Oxford, but is central for access to a wealth of tourist highlights.
These include Silverstone, Towester Racecourse, Althorpe, Stowe Gardens to the east; Broughton Castle, Upton House Sulgrave Manor, Banbury Edgehill, Warwick Castle to the north; Blenheim Palace, Oxford, Rousham and the Thames Valley to the south.. The famous Burford Wild Life Park and Zoo is also within striking distance villages to the west, with other Cotswold towns and villages.

The property is located near to the centre of the village which has two good quality pubs and a convenience shop. Wifi available.LocationKingham is a beautiful unspoilt Cotswold village with a large open green and some elegant stone and thatch cottages mostly dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. It is situated in the Evenlode valley in Oxfordshire and is a short drive from the more well known town of Chipping Norton. It is a thriving village with a good sense of community. As well as the pubs there is a good village store and an attractive church. The village is unique amongst Cotswold villages, because it is served by a main line railway station about a mile from the village, the mainline railway station provides regular services to London with services operated by First Great Western Link. Of particular note is the The Kingham Plough which is a quintessential Cotswold Inn and has an outstanding restaurant. According to AA Gill: "The kitchen is a serious restaurant workplace. The bar menu is as fine as any I've seen...anyone thinking of opening a local pub restaurant should come here and see the gold standard." (AA Gill writing in the Sunday Times). Otherwise nearby are Chipping Norton, Stow on the Wold and Burford, with Oxford, Stratford upon Avon and Bath all within a reasonable drive.

Accommodation overview: Church Cottage, Burford is one of those unique holiday cottages which come along only once in a while! Located in the heart of the beautiful Cotswold town of Burford, and right next to the famous 14th/15th Century church (described as the finest in Oxfordshire) this classic Cotswold cottage has everything to make your holiday truly enjoyable. Internally the cottage has been recently refurbished and provides a holiday home with character, charm and style: light, airy and comfortable, with hints of the 'Art-Deco' period when the house was built. Externally the house has an enviable location at the end of a no-through lane and overlooking the church. There is a very pretty, enclosed garden and (of course) the cottage is only a few minutes walk from restaurants and shops too. Set on a working farm within a small Cotswolds hamlet, the barn has nearby access to the rolling countryside of the Oxfordshire Cotswolds. The open plan living that the owners have created make it a real treat and clearly ideal for entertaining. Internally the barn has been carefully renovated and provides superb facilities and touches including the enormous windows in the centre of the building, which we feel will make it a firm favourite with customers. The cottage, set within a beautiful pocket of the Cotswolds, has spacious, welcoming accommodation. Internally, the property offers high quality, characterful features including high ceilings and exposed walls to make the cottage unique. Outside there is a secluded sitting area. Locally, there is The Wychwood Golf Club, which has a Freehouse serving good food all day to both players and non-players.(*below.) Outside, there are lovely views across the countryside and village and a secluded sitting area. A truly wonderful part of the Cotswolds! (NB.
