Accommodation overview: Snipe Barn, 5 Star Gold Visit Britain is a stunning, cool and contemporary barn conversion set in a simply beautiful corner of the Oxfordshire Cotswolds' countryside. We believe that it is perfect for large families or groups who prefer space to spread out and relax. Set within the Chimney Nature Reserve, the location is ideal and convenient for Burford, Oxford and Cheltenham all being within an easy and reasonably short drive. Internally the barn has been modified to an exceptional standard and provides an excellent level of accommodation, with large rooms throughout and all mod cons included. In our opinion Snipe Barn is right for family or friend 'get-together's' and is sure to be a very popular choice for discerning guests.Owl Barn, Snipe Barn and Rose Barn are owned by the same family and can be rented together for groups of 18 to 36 people. Overlooking the spectacular Cotswold countryside, (see pictures) there are six bedrooms plus excellent entertaining space which together make this a very comfortable destination. Accommodation overview: The Den, a converted barn on Shaken Oak Farm, is a wonderful holiday cottage for those who wish to get away from it all and recharge the batteries. Situated in the original Wychwood Forest - a Royal hunting ground - The Den is in a truly tranquil setting, amongst fields and woods, and yet close to Woodstock and the famous Blenheim Palace as well as Oxford. The property is well cared for by the owners and is an ideal 'bolt-hole' to relax peacefully. There are many excellent walks all around and yet you are conveniently located for a wide selection of Cotswolds locations. The local pub, The Royal Oak at Ramsden which was voted the Good Pub Guide's Country Pub of the Year 2011, is just a mile away - a delightful stroll through the woods and fields. We as well as everyone else highly recommend this pub! ACCOMMODATION: (all on one level )French windows lead into the Sitting / Dining / Kitchen area. Useful facilities include digital TV with DVD player, CD & digital radio, dining table and chairs. Kitchen is well equipped with electric cooker, microwave, washer/dryer, fridge with ice compartment. Accommodation overview: Little Barn, ETB 4 stars, is a wonderful renovated stone barn which faces South overlooking farm fields. Detached from the main village in a peaceful and secluded valley surrounded by oak trees, Little Barn is a popular holiday cottage which has been converted to a high specification. Exposed beams and solid pine doors and furniture, with flagstone floors downstairs and fitted carpets upstairs create a rich, cosy property with a welcoming ambience. From the cottage, there is a large secure courtyard facing south with large pots of flowers and garden furniture. Ascott is a small peaceful hamlet about half a mile beyond Whichford. ACCOMMODATION: Excellent Kitchen / Dining Room with a high ceiling and exposed beams, fully fitted and equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven and hob, fridge (freezer in outhouse), microwave.
