The cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms - one double and one twin and there is a bathroom with bath, separate shower, basin and WC, along with a ground floor cloakroom with basin and WC. The living accommodation comprises a fitted kitchen, utility and sitting room with open fire and dining area. Outside, there is off road parking for two cars and a gravelled garden area with furniture. Guests also have shared use of the owner's heated outdoor swimming pool and tennis court. With the village pub close by, on the river, and with historic Oxford within easy reach, Dutton House makes a great base for a break in the Cotswolds.

The cottage, which dates back to the 16th Century, has undergone considerable renovation creating a stunning holiday home. Internally there many period features incl a Tudor stone fireplace with woodburner, mullion windows and flagstone floors. The cottage enjoys a quiet location down a no-through lane with an enclosed cottage garden to its rear. The hamlet of Holwell is a few miles from Burford. The holiday cottage, which dates from circa 18th Century, is situated on the main high street within Stow making it literally seconds from shops, restaurants and similar. The property, which has been within the same family for generations, has been carefully renovated with a real attention to detail and a delightful art deco 'twist' maikng it unique and very appealing. Many of the original features such as the wooden floors have been beautifully retained. The accommodation, which is detached and across two floors is both spacious and cosy at the same time and overlooks the garden in all directions. Wifi available.LocationKingham is a beautiful unspoilt Cotswold village with a large open green and some elegant stone and thatch cottages mostly dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. It is situated in the Evenlode valley in Oxfordshire and is a short drive from the more well known town of Chipping Norton. It is a thriving village with a good sense of community. As well as the pubs there is a good village store and an attractive church. The village is unique amongst Cotswold villages, because it is served by a main line railway station about a mile from the village, the mainline railway station provides regular services to London with services operated by First Great Western Link. Of particular note is the The Kingham Plough which is a quintessential Cotswold Inn and has an outstanding restaurant. According to AA Gill: "The kitchen is a serious restaurant workplace. The bar menu is as fine as any I've seen...anyone thinking of opening a local pub restaurant should come here and see the gold standard." (AA Gill writing in the Sunday Times). Otherwise nearby are Chipping Norton, Stow on the Wold and Burford, with Oxford, Stratford upon Avon and Bath all within a reasonable drive.
