Happisburgh (pronounced Haisbro) is a seaside village on the North East Coast of Norfolk. It has considerable historic charm with many thatched cottages and a handsome church, whose tower top is now accessible to visitors. There is a prominent red and white striped lighthouse, and the beach is loved by all age groups. There are some lovely coastal and rural walks in the area and many attractions to visit, including the Broads and the Royal Horticultural Society garden at East Ruston.

Heather Cottage is an attractively presented, pleasant, modern cottage. It is well maintained and offers a warm welcome at any time of the year. A shortcut beyond the pub, across a field and down a lane you will come to a new car park and picnic area and a wide sandy bay, all of this only about a ten minute walk from the cottage. The Old Rectory details

The Old Rectory in Norfolk is a luxury self catering holiday home which stands in its own parkland next to the church surrounded by open countryside, a mile from North Tuddenham. The original rectory dated from the 16th century and the poet William Cowper stayed here when he first came to Norfolk. It was replaced in 1852 by Rev Barry, younger brother of the architect of the Houses of Parliament, who designed it himself. The holiday home has been refurbished to provide a luxury self catering venue for family gatherings. It is easily accessed from the A47, half a mile away.

There is a pub in the village of North Tuddenham. Situated in the upspoilt rural centre of Norfolk there is much to see and do as it is ideally located for exploring the coast (35 minutes' drive), the Broads (30 minutes) and the historic city of Norwich (20 minutes). The Old Rectory is set in idyllic surroundings with grounds covering 12.5 acres. There are large areas of lawn interspersed with mature shrubs and trees. The grounds also include a west facing terrace, ideal for summer barbecues, a pond (this has been fenced making it childproof), and a children's football area with two goals. The Old Rectory is an ideal outdoor holiday break with its own wood: a pathway marked by an avenue of yew trees which leads to clearings planted with bluebells, foxgloves and primroses and ideal picnic spots. There is table tennis in the games room and an all weather tennis court in the grounds. There are riding stables nearby. Dersingham nestles in the embrace of the Royal Estate of Sandringham and is surrounded by beautiful countryside and woodland. There are many fine examples of the local carrstone and flint architecture to be found within this thriving village which is rich in history. A good choice of local beaches, the nearest at Snettisham is only two miles away, with the coastal resorts of North and West Norfolk readily accessible. The area offers good walking and cycling opportunities and if ornithology is a passion then Dersingham boasts its own English Nature Reserve, with Holme - Norfolk Wildlife Trust, Titchwell and Snettisham - RSPB reserves a short distance away. The village has a wide variety of local shops and pubs, which serve food.

Cowslip Cottage is an attractive mid-terrace late Victorian cottage facing the village church with a back garden overlooking meadow land. It has been refurbished to a high standard and offers well-equipped accommodation. The sitting/dining room extends from front to back which makes for a very light and airy aspect.
