Accommodation overview: Dairy Cottage is an attractive holiday cottage situated in the stunning Cotswolds village of Minster Lovell. The cottage is attached the owner's home and sits within 3 acres of gardens which roll down towards the River Windrush. Internally the cottage is a spacious and charming holiday home with many character features including old timbers and exposed walls and attractive furnishings. The cottage enjoys it's own private and enclosed garden with access to the owners' gardens as well access to an indoor swimming pool and tennis court* and fishing on the river. Locally is the beautiful village which has a small hotel / pub and some tremendous walks into the countryside. The cottage is a superb location for touring the Cotswolds or simply enjoying a relaxing break doing nothing!ACCOMMODATIONEntrance through to lobby, through to living room which is open to the dining room, but still providing privacy!Living Room with two large sofas, open fireplace, TV, DVD player and radio/CD player.Dining Room with table and six chairsKitchen, well equipped, with electric hob and oven, microwave, large fridge and freezer, dishwasher. Beyond both the front and rear garden areas are additional gardens which include a tennis court and an indoor swimming pool. *Although there is no 'restriction' on the use of these, the owners request that you make contact each time you wish to play! The larger gardens extend down to the River Windrush with lovely views across the village cricket pitch.Saturday Changeover in School Holidays preferred, Any Day otherwise. Cot and High Chair available. Extra bed available £40 per week or per stay. Owner requires a £100 damages deposit. Broadband and payphone available.LocationThe village as you would expect has several good pubs, along with a very good general store and Post Office and serves as a charming base for visiting Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick Castle, Blenheim Palace, Broughton Castle and other Cotswolds delights. The owners have made a special arrangement with the local golf club (five minutes drive away) for subsidised pay and play rates. Riding is also available close by. There is a Pottery adjacent to the cottage, which sells a great variety of tableware, lamps and gifts made by a range of local craftspeople.

The owners have undergone a major regeneration project and the end result is an amazing holiday home that has absolutely everything you could possibly wish for, including an indoor pool and Turkish Bath! The property, which is access via 14 external steps, is presented to a very high standard with large open planning living the main focal point. The property is located near to the centre of the village which has two good quality pubs and a convenience shop. Wifi available.LocationKingham is a beautiful unspoilt Cotswold village with a large open green and some elegant stone and thatch cottages mostly dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. It is situated in the Evenlode valley in Oxfordshire and is a short drive from the more well known town of Chipping Norton. It is a thriving village with a good sense of community. As well as the pubs there is a good village store and an attractive church. The village is unique amongst Cotswold villages, because it is served by a main line railway station about a mile from the village, the mainline railway station provides regular services to London with services operated by First Great Western Link. Of particular note is the The Kingham Plough which is a quintessential Cotswold Inn and has an outstanding restaurant. According to AA Gill: "The kitchen is a serious restaurant workplace. The bar menu is as fine as any I've seen...anyone thinking of opening a local pub restaurant should come here and see the gold standard." (AA Gill writing in the Sunday Times). Otherwise nearby are Chipping Norton, Stow on the Wold and Burford, with Oxford, Stratford upon Avon and Bath all within a reasonable drive.
