Accommodation overview: Ringstead is a small village with a superb pub, The Gin Trap, Minutes from Brancaster, Titchwell and Holme. This is the place to be, comfortable accommodation that is very well equipped and tastefully furnished. An excellent holiday location. Ringstead is a quiet little village in North West Norfolk, just a mile or two from Hunstanton and Holme-next-the-Sea. The village lies on the Peddars' Way, an old Roman road now used as a long distance footpath that links into the fine coastal paths. Here the sandy beaches of the Wash and the striped cliffs at Hunstanton are broken up by a more indented coastline of tidal creeks and salt marshes at Thornham and Titchwell. All the pleasures of the coast are close at hand yet this quieter location offers a more peaceful holiday base.
Abbotts Cottage offers tastefully furnished and well-equipped accommodation, with quarry tiled floors with rugs downstairs and renovated floorboards also with rugs on the first floor. It was originally two cottages and retains many original features including two staircases. Accommodation overview: An attractive brick and flint cottage, close to the Norfolk Coast. The quiet village of Syderstone is just seven miles from the sandy beaches, salt marshes and bird reserves of the beautiful North Norfolk Coast. The village is home to Syderstone Common, which is a Site of Special Scientific Interest, famous for its natter jack toads. There are many good days out in the surrounding area for young and old alike including historic houses, windmills and country parks. The traditional market town of Fakenham is just seven miles away and offers a good selection of shops and eating places, as do Burnham Market and Holt. Pensthorpe as featured in the BBC Springwatch programme is nine miles away. This brick and flint cottage, parts of which date back to the 17th century, has been sympathetically renovated and provides pleasant and comfortable accommodation which is full of character with beamed ceilings. Accommodation overview: Janerio is a brilliant base for a family holiday, only a five minute walk from the sandy beach and there is a lovely garden to relax in at the end of the day The village of Mundesley is an excellent location for a seaside holiday. Mundesley has a wonderful clean, wide beach and a good range of shops, pubs and restaurants. Some may enjoy a dip in the sea or perhaps just the chance to relax and enjoy the view, whilst children will love to play on the golden sands. There is a golf course and driving range in the village with both horse riding and sea fishing available locally. Historic houses, steam trains, water sports and nature reserves are all within a short drive.
Janeiro is an end terrace former fisherman's cottage that has been carefully renovated and extended providing spacious accommodation which is perfect for families. There is a good size garden and private off-road parking. The well-known beach is less than five minutes away on foot as are all the local amenities in the pretty village of Mundesley. Accommodation overview: Pleasant Victorian brick and flint cottage situated next to the village green. Binham is a beautiful, peaceful village retaining all the charm and character of a bygone age. The village has the remains of an early 12th century Benedictine priory, where classical concerts are held throughout the summer and the whole area is steeped in history. The Georgian town of Holt is five miles away with the harbour town of Wells four miles away. Also nearby is the picturesque village of Blakeney, where narrow streets slope down to the tidal creek, and which offers sailing and beautiful coastal and marshland walks. The well-stocked village shop is a legendary village institution, as are the excellent butcher, gift shop and pub with its own micro-brewery.
