The traditional seaside resorts of Sheringham and Cromer with their sandy beaches and rock pools are approximately six miles away, or a little further west is the enormous stretch of sand and dunes at Holkham Bay. There are several National Trust properties to visit and Norwich boasts a fine cathedral as well as restaurants, theatres and galleries. The meandering waterways of the Norfolk Broads are only a short drive away.
