Le Manoir Cottage is well located near Bourton-on-the-Water, Burford, Stow and the Slaughters in a quiet village with uninterrupted country views over the Windrush Valley. It is tastefully decorated, relaxed and cosy with easy access to walks, gardens, restaurants, shops and pubs including one within close walking distance.
Many places of interest including BBC Countryfile's Adams Farm, Sezincote's magnificent gardens and Batsford Arboretum, Britain's most visited arboretum, are all within a 20-minute drive. Longborough's increasingly popular six week Festival Opera in June/July and The Daylesford Organic Farm Shop in Kingham are less than a 15-minute drive away.
Race meetings and golf are all within easy reach. Blenheim Palace at Woodstock, Cheltenham, Oxford, and Stratford-upon-Avon are all within a 35 to 45 minute drive.

Accommodation overview: Rigside Farmhouse is spacious holiday cottage set on the edge of the Cotswolds village of Little Compton. The house has been developed specifically for large groups with accommodation up to 16+ available. The house is surrounded by fields and paddocks and, in our opinion, is simply ideal for large gatherings of friends and/or families. Externally the house sits in an acre size plot on the edge of the village (see below) and is well located for the popular market towns of Chipping Norton, Moreton in Marsh and Stow on the Wold. Similarly near by are a host of beautiful Cotswold villages. Accommodation overview: The Granary (Cotswolds) details
The Granary incorporates an original stone barn and offers peaceful seclusion in a very rural position at the end of a half mile private road. Guests will enjoy spacious, comfortable and generously sized accommodation with sunny south west facing views across farmland and privately owned woodland.
With a network of footpaths nearby there is plenty of walking and the lack of light pollution means wonderful star gazing at night. It is in an area with lots of native wildlife: badgers, foxes, deer, ravens, sparrow hawks, owls (including barn owls), woodpeckers, nuthatches and lots of garden birds. This is a unique corner of West Gloucestershire, famous for native wild daffodils in spring.
The large enclosed fenced and private garden with cherry trees is safe for dogs. The Granary is adjoining the owners' home.
There is a large privately owned lake nearby (100 yards from The Granary) and guests are welcome to use it (at their own risk) for freshwater swimming and fishing. Well stocked with Tench, Bream, Perch, Rudd and even Bleak, this is an area full of native wildlife such as frogs, newts, toads and dragonflies – with an occasional chance to glimpse a kingfisher.
London is approximately a three hour drive. Local train stations are Ledbury and Gloucester.

Accommodation overview: Blackjack Mews is a top floor, townhouse apartment situated within an historic building right in the centre of Cirencester. The building was once important in Cirencester circles, but today has been converted into four apartments, all above an old bookshop. The building is located on a small cobbled street. Even though in the heart of the town, there is no issue with noise, in fact it is extremely peaceful and yet you are literally seconds from all of the town's many and varied attractions. The apartment is spacious and comfortable; fully equipped for self catering and, in our opinion, just right for either a weekend retreat or as a base for touring the local environment. The nearest shop and pub at Guiting Power is a short car drive away. The Coach House, providing holiday accommodation for five guests, dates back to the 14th century and has views over meadows to distant fields below. Close to some of the most sensational walking in England, within hundreds of dedicated walkways through legendary Cotswold countryside.
The medieval village of Winchcombe, a short drive away, stands in the shadow of Sudely Castle and has a choice of several good restaurants and excellent shopping including two supermarkets.
