Accommodation overview: Traditional brick and flint fisherman's cottage. This Cromer cottage is only a few minutes walk from the beautiful sandy beach and it is also very close to the centre of Cromer. Ideal for seaside holidays! Cromer is a traditional seaside resort with a cliff-top setting and wide sandy beaches running down to the sea. It is famous for its fishing boats that still work off the shore and offer freshly caught seafood. The town has a fine pier, a local history museum, a new lifeboat museum, a golf course, multi-screen cinema, Amazonia zoo, Kart Track, cycle hire, shops and restaurants as well as seafront entertainment, making it ideal for a family holiday. Cromer church tower is the tallest in Norfolk and the more adventurous might like to climb to the top to enjoy the wonderful views. This traditional brick and flint fisherman's cottage is situated along a little alley just a few minutes walk from the sea and the town centre. Accommodation overview: Ellerslie is a large family house, offering spacious, well equipped accommodation. Holiday here and you can forget the car, the beach is within walking distance. Hunstanton is a popular traditional seaside town, with a long sandy beach backed by distinctive striped cliffs. There are reminders of its Victorian origins including the promenade, the large green and the attractive esplanade gardens. Hunstanton town offers a host of activities for the family including a Sea Life Centre, a fun fair, tennis courts, bowling green and a sports and leisure centre with indoor swimming pool, crazy golf and pitch & putt course. A little further along is quieter Old Hunstanton, which is a picturesque village with mellow carrstone houses, an impressive medieval church and a championship golf course, there is also a new eighteen hole golf course at nearby Heacham Manor. The nature reserves at Scolt Head, Titchwell and Holme Dunes are just a short distance away. The coastal footpaths in the area are great for walking and bird-watching. The Royal Sandringham Estate is approximately eight miles away, a wonderful day out with its cycling, walking and picnic opportunities.
Ellerslie is a spacious property just a few minutes' walk from the beautiful beach of Old Hunstanton and will appeal too many with its proximity to the gold course, wild life and bird sanctuaries and the Royal estate of Sandringham. Accommodation overview: Flint Cottage is situated to the southern end of the High Street, a stones throw from the Beach, shops and the Yacht Club. Aldeburgh and the surrounding area has inspired many authors and poets in the past but the most famous son of the town is Benjamin Britten who founded the Aldeburgh Music Festival which now has worldwide acclaim and is held every year in June at Snape Maltings. Fishermen still pull their colourful boats up on the shingle beach and sell fresh fish from the picturesque huts. The wide, mainly Georgian high street has many attractive buildings whilst the seafront properties all have commanding views of the beach and the North Sea. Boating is popular on the nearby Alde estuary where a large variety of yachts can be seen at summer weekends. Accommodation overview: One of four very well appointed cottages offering sympathetically restored accommodation with use of a large recreation barn. Happisburgh (pronounced Haisbro) is a seaside village on the North East Coast of Norfolk, famous for its red and white lighthouse. It offers visitors a quiet, rural location, sandy beaches and cliff-top walks. The village has a post office/store and a traditional coaching inn and is within a 15-minute drive of the market towns of North Walsham and Stalham with easy access to the Norfolk Broads and many other tourist attractions. In past years Church Farm has been a favoured holiday location for famous artists such as Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth, Ben Nicholson and Ivon Hitchens, keen to relax in a rural idyll. The large grain barn and stables have been sympathetically converted to retain character and create four beautiful cottages, which all have exposed flint walls and old beams. There is a large recreation barn (9am-8pm) offering a racket sports area, a pool table, table tennis table and a comfortable seating area with books and games.
