Accommodation overview: The famous Dales Way walk is a long distance footpath of around 80 miles running from the market town of ilkley to the popular tourist village of Bowness. As the name suggests, Dales Way Cottage, the footpath passes the door of the property so is an ideal for those who have made the historic journey. Nestling at the end of a small row, Dales Way Cottage fronts onto Brantfell and is a five minute stroll down hill to popular Bowness, teeming with shops, bars and restaurants. Bowness has plenty of activities for all the family including cinema, Beatrix Potter exhibition and a host of waterborne activities. Dales way Cottage is blessed with many original features including a recently exposed stone wall housing the wood burning stove. Characterful beams have been proudly restored and displayed along with several modern day additions to ensure your comfort.

Accommodation overview: Croft Cottage is located in the heart of Braithwaite village, which lies at the foot of Grisedale Pike and Whinlatter Pass. The cottage which dates back to 1868 was formerly a barn which has been converted into two dwellings and has been fully modernised and refurbished to the same high standard as the owners other properties, Millerdale and Kiln How in Threlkeld. The village boasts a shop, 2 pubs serving bar meals and a restaurant all within walking distance and all accept pets. Keswick is only 2 miles away where you will find an abundance of amenities and visitor attractions. You can walk from the door in Braithwaite and there are some of the best mountain bike tracks in Whinlatter forest. There are fell views from the bedroom windows. Outside the cottage is an unloading area, ample on street parking and a gravelled garden with seating area.

Accommodation overview: Staddlestones was built in the 1970s and totally extended and renovated in 2005 in a quiet, residential area of Bowness. Of unique design, the property is very light and spacious, the accommodation being surrounded by areas of woodland and lush green lawns, often frequented by the local wildlife including Woodpeckers, deer and rabbits. The free form gardens, dotted with specimen trees and shrubs, are set in a park situation with the neighbouring property and give way to a great view of the Lake - the large balcony off the main living area being perfect vantage point from to gaze upon the flora and fauna below.

Accommodation overview: Mollys Cottage is situated in the village of Glenridding, on one of the main walking routes to Helvellyn. This traditional stone built cottage was fully refurbished in 2006 with very good quality furnishings and every modern appliance to ensure guests comfort. A feature of the cottage is the roof top sunroom the balcony from which there are spectacular panoramic views. The cottage also benefits from a good-sized garden, a pub within 200 yards and 5 minutes walk to Ullswater. There are many lovely walks around Ullswater, including the spectacular Aira Force Waterfall, or the less energetic could take a cruise on the Ullswater steamers and fish on the lake.

Accommodation overview: Situated in the middle of Threlkeld Village, Kiln how Cottage is fully modernised and refurbished to a high standard. The neighbouring property of Millerdale has the same owner and the 2 cottages may be let seperately or together for up to 11 people. Kiln Howe lies adjacent to Kiln How Beck in the centre of Threlkeld village along a short lane off the main street. Threlkeld sits at the foot of the mighty Blencathra, which can be viewed from outside the cottage, and lies just 4 miles to the east of Keswick and 15 minutes drive from the motorway. The Horse and Farrier public house and restaurant is within 100 yards and the Salutaion Inn, which serves bar meals, is approximately 200 yards. There is a footpath leading from the cottage directly onto Blencathra, which rises steeply above the village, infact there are so many walks locally your car may be parked up for the week. A shared garage with Millerdale provides secure storage for bikes.
