Highside Cottage is an idyllic retreat in peaceful surroundings with panoramic views, where glorious sunsets across the Solway Firth to the southern uplands of Scotland can be enjoyed. Accommodation overview: The Bog Farmhouse and barns at Aldoth were recently converted into a row of attractive sandstone cottages, with character features but modern facilities. Old Bog Farmhouse is situated in a peaceful, rural area, surrounded by open farmland and with views to the Lake District Mountains. Aldoth is in North West Cumbria, 5 miles from the Victorian seaside town of Silloth and the wonderful Cumbrian coast and within easy reach of The Lakes, Carlisle and Hadrians Wall. There are numerous nature reserves along the coast and excellent walks along the beaches and nearby fells. The nearest pub is 3 miles, at Abbey Town, with many more amenities in Silloth including leisure facilities, restaurants, pubs and shops. There are 2 golf courses within 5 miles, one in Aspatria and the award wining Links course at Silloth.

Accommodation overview: Grange-Over-Sands and surrounding districts are a delightful area of the South Lakes, offering an interesting selection of historic seaside resorts and quaint rural villages. Grange is an elegant town, with a long, sweeping promenade fronting the Bay, lined with antique and collectors shops and cafes. Cartmel famous for its Priory and race meetings is well worth a visit, if only to sample the local sticky toffee pudding. Allithwaite is a short drive from both Grange and Cartmel and is only about 7 miles from the southern tip of Lake Windermere with easy access to the higher fells. Fairview, an end terrace cottage, has been completely renovated to provide exceptional levels of comfort. The accommodation is set out over three floors. Accommodation overview: This detached former Station House sits in 1 acre of private garden in a beautiful rural setting at Wright Green, Lamplugh, on the edge of the Lake District National Park. The railway line was opened in 1861 to carry iron-ore and coal from the nearby mines and in later years carried passengers before closing in 1954.

Accommodation overview: This charming seaside cottage has a superb location, directly across the road from the sand and pebble beach at Beckfoot. There are spectacular views from the beach over the Solway Firth to the Scottish Hills and breathtaking sunsets. The beach is great for dog walking and extends for miles in either direction, with Silloth to the north and Allonby to the south. These 2 quaint seaside towns each have amenities, including leisure facilities, restaurants, pubs and shops and the Lake District is 30 minutes drive. Georges cottage is next to Isabels Cottage and may be let separately or together for up to 10 people.
