Accommodation overview: Wexford is a beautifully furnished timber chalet situated on Seven Acres Caravan Park, at the entrance to the beautiful valleys of Eskdale and Wasdale where you will find Englands favourite view. Seven Acres is conveniently located off the A595 between the villages of Gosforth (approx 1/2 mile) and Holmrook, minutes from the sea and next to the mountains of the Western Lakes. In Gosforth you will find shops, pubs and restaurants. Places of interest nearby include Muncaster Castle and Owl Centre, and the Laal Ratty miniature railway. Accommodation overview: Lindale is a delightful village in the south Lakes, only 2 miles from Grange Over Sands which can be reached in 5 minutes by car or 40 minutes walk for those more energetic of you. Grange was a popular resort of the Victorians and still today retains an historic feel with the lovely promenade fringed by delightful tea rooms and craft shops. Lindale is well placed for exploring all of the Lakes and Furness Peninsula, Windermere Lake being only only 15 minutes drive. The village itself has a local store, well supported village hall and two pubs offering real ale and excellent food.

Accommodation overview: This charming seaside character cottage has a superb location, directly across the road from the sand and pebble beach at Beckfoot. The front garden looks over the Solway Firth to the Scottish Hills and has the most spectacular sunsets. The beach is great for dog walking and extends for miles in either direction, with Silloth to the north and Allonby to the south. These 2 quaint seaside towns each have amenities, including leisure facilities, restaurants, pubs and shops and the Lake District is 30 minutes drive. Isabels Cottage has a wet room and a bedroom on the ground floor, which will be an advantage to guests with mobility problems.

Aldoth is in North West Cumbria, 5 miles from the Victorian seaside town of Silloth and the wonderful Cumbrian coast and within easy reach of The Lakes, Carlisle and Hadrians Wall. There are numerous nature reserves along the coast and excellent walks along the beaches and nearby fells. We marketed it for many years as a 3 bedroom property, until 2011/12 when the owner made several alterations and improvements and relaunched it as a fabulous 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom property, suitable for 2 families or several couples. This 1830s stone barn was converted by the owner into luxury accommodation retaining many original features, including exposed stone walls and beamed ceilings and complemented with luxurious furnishings and exceptional facilities. All principal rooms have double or triple aspect with views to the Lakeland fells, Solway and the Scottish lowlands. It is situated in the historic hamlet of Bridekirk, just outside the Gem town of Cockermouth, which has a wide range of individual shops, restaurants, pubs, a major supermarket and visitor attractions. Accommodation overview: Nook Cottage is a lovely well stocked Lake District cottage with a coal fire and enclosed courtyard and garden. It is an ideal base for families to relax and have fun on Silecroft beach or explore the western lakes and fells. Silecroft lies in the quiet South Eastern corner of the Lake District National Park nestling between the sea and Black Coombe. Wordsworth described the area as "where the mountains meet the sea". The fabulous and challenging Black Coombe can be tackled by walking from the front door, the other lakes and mountains are only a short scenic drive away.
