Accommodation overview: Mount Pleasant is the pièce de résistance of our larger properties in the Northern Lakes. Its got it all, location, views, south facing, quality, space, garden and pub nearby. Renovated and luxuriously refurbished in 2011, it is situated in the village of Threlkeld with views in every direction, from St Johns in the Vale and Cleugh Head to the front and the mighty Blencathra towering behind. Built from slate with a brown hue, mined locally and unique to Threlkeld, this impressive detached house enjoys the sun all day long and has phenomenal views from every room. There are two cracking pubs in the village, one with a restaurant and one serving bar meals. Keswick is 3 miles and access to the M6 is only 15 minutes drive.

Accommodation overview: This impressive detached property was converted from the original farmhouse and barn which originally housed both the farming family and livestock, into a beautiful 4 bedroom home. Moss Garth has a slightly elevated position in Braithwaite with tremendous views from most rooms, it also has the benefit of a good sized garden and a garage. The village of Braithwaite is a very popular place for walkers to stay because of its amenities, there are 2 pubs each serving food, 2 restaurants, a shop and of course fantastic walks from the doorstep, including Grisedale Pike and Causey Pike.

Accommodation overview: These cottages, one a Victorian double fronted detached house and the other the converted stables sit in the very heart of Windermere are tucked away behind the main thoroughfare and accessed by a narrow lane opening out into a small courtyard. Nowadays, the horse and carriages have been exchanged for holidaymakers and the ancient buildings have been successfully converted to provide two most interesting cottages with all the desired 21st century facilities that we are so used to but wonderfully married with an Art Nouveau retro theme throughout, perfectly in keeping with the buildings historic past.

Accommodation overview: Taking its name from the rather steep area of woodland near where it sits, Breasty Haw is a wonderful example of a traditional, detached Lakeland cottage. The setting is idyllic as not only does Breasty Haw enjoy fine views across the valley but the house is situated in the middle of its own acre of mature woodland for guests to explore. With Grizedale Forest and ample walks and cycling routes right from the doorstep, Satterthwaite is an ideal base for an activity based holiday with the kids although the area also has some wonderful, gentle walks for those who prefer a quieter pace and some rest and relaxation.

Accommodation overview: This beautiful 4 bedroom detached property is superbly equipped, with 3 bathrooms, excellent kitchen facilities and very good quality furnishings throughout. It benefits from a stunning location, close to the shores of Ullswater, with a view of the lake and surrounding fells The ever popular village of Pooley Bridge is 3 miles, with shops, tea rooms and pubs serving bar meals. The Brackenrigg Inn is 1 1/2 miles and serves bar meals, or for that special treat the restaurant at the MacDonald Leeming Hotel is only 400 yards. There is much to do and see around Ullswater, from the spectacular Aira Force waterfall, to walks on the high fells or cruises round the lake on the Ullswater steamers.
