The charming seaside town of Sheringham is an excellent location for a holiday in beautiful North Norfolk. The award-winning beach is of flint pebbles when the tide is high, giving way to a large expanse of smooth sand as the tide recedes. Cliffs rise on either side of the town, which has a backdrop of wooded hills, including those in the wonderful Sheringham Park. Sheringham is also home to The North Norfolk Steam Railway, Splash Leisure Centre, a golf course and an excellent selection of shops, tea-rooms, pubs and restaurants.

Accommodation overview: A charming property that has been fully modernised whilst retaining its character. The accommodation is well equipped and very attractive, close to beach and the small coastal towns of Sheringham and Cromer. East Runton lies on the A149 coast road between the resorts of Sheringham and Cromer. A steepish lane leads down to the beach where at low tide there is a wide expanse of flat sand perfect for sandcastles or ball games. The beach is backed by high cliffs and there are paths into Cromer or the neighbouring village of West Runton. Away from the coast is a cluster of traditional brick and flint cottages, and an attractive green and duck pond. The village is well placed for exploring the area but if you wish to remain closer to home there are several small shops, two pubs and a restaurant serving meals. Silvergate Cottage is an attractive, traditional brick and flint cottage in the centre of this small coastal village. It has been completely refurbished and while character features such as beams have been retained, there is a modern contemporary feel to the property. There is a sunny courtyard garden and the beach is only a five minute walk away. This is a well-equipped, cosy cottage in which to enjoy a holiday at any time of the year. It is only one mile from Overstrand, with quiet sands that are great for both lazy summer days and bracing winter walks. The bustling coastal resort of Cromer is just two and a half miles away and also has a lovely sandy beach as well as a pier, traditional seaside entertainment, a good range of shops and eating places and excellent cliff-top walks. The area offers scenic paths for walks and bike rides and the cottage is located close to the North Norfolk Cycle way.

Accommodation overview: Buntings is a spacious property located in the small North Norfolk village of Little Snoring. Well equipped and comfortable this is a great place for a holiday at any time of year. Little Snoring and Great Snoring always raise a smile. Little Snoring is the larger of the two and is well known locally for its distinctive church. Situated just a few miles from the North Norfolk Coast, surrounded by lovely countryside, with lots for families to do, it is an ideal holiday location for exploring this part of the county. The market town of Fakenham is just a couple of miles away and its weekly Thursday market is well worth a visit. The Georgian town of Holt with its diverse shopping and cafe-style atmosphere is a great place to explore.
Buntings is a detached house situated in a quiet location on the outskirts of the village, accessed by a private drive. It is a comfortable property that is ideal for families or groups of friends. The coast at Wells-Next-The-Sea is about eight miles away and Pensthorpe Nature Reserve (of Springwatch fame) is only five minutes in the car.
