This 18th century terraced fisherman s cottage has been tastefully furnished retaining many original features including low doorways narrow stairwells and cottage style steps. It is located in the high street of this charming seaside town and is only 50 yards from a sandy/shingle beach. Walk to a wide variety of traditional shops pubs tearooms and restaurants serving delicious freshly caught seafood. Accommodation overview: Swallows is a fabulous barn conversion which offers extremely spacious accommodation that is very well appointed. Helhoughton is a small village surrounded by attractive countryside. A peaceful location that has very good access to the North Norfolk Coast, the coastal villages of Burnham Market and Brancaster and the sandy beaches of Thornham and Holme. The RSPB site at Titchwell offers wonderful bird-watching opportunities. The attractive market town of Fakenham is four miles away, with its shops, bowling alley, cinema, restaurants and pubs and a Thursday market which should not be missed. Pensthorpe, home to the BBC Springwatch programme, is a great day out for all ages and is just 3 miles south east of Fakenham. National Cycle Routes 1 & 2 are just two of the routes that are in the locality and they will certainly test your staying power. A great location for a holiday at any time of the year with lots to see and do. Wells is a popular town set behind a small harbour on the beautiful North Norfolk Coast. It is possible to travel from the town by narrow-gauge steam railway to the sandy beach, which is backed by pine woods. The beach is one mile from the town and has a car park and tea rooms. It is an ideal location for a holiday at any time of the year and the area is famed for ornithology and has many excellent walks. Amenities in the town include amusements, great pubs, restaurants and many interesting shops. There are many National Trust properties in the surrounding area including Blickling Hall (four miles), which hosts an exciting international programme of open air concerts, both classical and pop, throughout the summer months. Felbrigg Hall is 10 miles away with its stunning gardens renowned for its rhododendrons and azaleas.
The popular Georgian towns of Holt and Burnham Market, with their boutiques and antique shops, are within easy reach, with the beautiful beaches of the Norfolk coast only 15 minutes' drive away. The Coach House is perfectly situated for family holidays - visit the seals at Blakeney, the Dinosaur Park at Lenwade, or the children's adventure park Bewilderwood, which is only 15 minutes away. A miniature railway line links Aylsham and Wroxham, giving perfect access to a family day on the Broads.
