South Park is a spacious detached house with lovely views over the surrounding countryside to the estuary in the distance. Situated in a residential cul de sac within walking distance of the village shops, pubs and restaurants it is a really comfortable home from home. The hallway with oak flooring gives access to the large sunny living room, separate dining room and immaculate newly fitted kitchen which also has an ample breakfast bar with seating for all the family. Two bedrooms are on the ground floor, overlooking the front garden, both being extremely spacious and served by a modern shower room. A further cloakroom adds to the facilities. On the first floor a good sized landing acts as a useful study area with desk and leads to a large bedroom with characterful sloping ceiling and amazing views from a Juliette style balcony towards the estuary. A special feature of this room is the wonderful ensuite bathroom with huge spa bath for luxurious relaxation. Outside is a small courtyard, and a parking permit is provided for two cars for the car park at the top of the bank a couple of minutes' walk from the cottage. York House has the amenities and beach of Staithes on the doorstep, as well as good walking and easy access to the rest of the coast, including Whitby, or the lovely North York Moors.
