It is part of The Wensum Valley, named after the river, which flows through the picturesque countryside and provides excellent fishing opportunities. The area is great for both cycling and walking, with a network of country lanes, and Sparham Pools Nature Reserve is close by and provides excellent walks and bird watching. The fine city of Norwich is just thirteen miles away and there are many attractions in the area to suit all ages.
