Slightly further afield leads you to the popular attractions at Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Longleat Safari Park, numerous National Trust properties and gardens. The North Somerset coastline is also a short drive and has a range of different beaches to choose from. The barn overlooks the surrounding fields and has views over Roadford Lake, and on a clear day you can see most of Dartmoor. Located only a 10 minute drive to the A30 makes Dartlake View easily accessible and an ideal base from which to explore both Devon and Cornwall. Visit the many National Trust houses and gardens, or the sandy beaches on the North coast. The Eden Project, Plymouth, Exeter, Barnstaple and Truro are all approximately a one hour drive. With so much to see and do, you will look forward to returning to your comfortable holiday home. The Coleridge Way can easily be accessed, a new 36 mile trail through the stunning countryside of the Quantock Hills, the Brendon Hills and Exmoor. Stolford with its tidal pebbled beach is 1.5 miles with further small pebbled bays along the coastline to Minehead, perfect for those wishing to avoid the crowds and many welcome dogs all year. Steart Common is also close by and has a sandy beach and access to the RSPB Reserve and Parrett Way. Farm activities: guests are welcome to enjoy a guided tour of the farm, watch the milking and meet the cows and calves when the season is right.
