Accommodation overview: A cosy cottage in a quiet location in this popular Norfolk village. Close to the coast at Brancaster and Thornham, literally just minutes away by car. So enjoy all the benefits of a family holiday close to the sandy beaches of the Norfolk coast. Docking is a well located North Norfolk village surrounded by unspoilt countryside, providing easy access to the area's country and coastal attractions. It is four miles from the splendid sandy beach at Brancaster with the traditional seaside resort of Hunstanton seven miles away. The beaches at Heacham, Holme, Holkham and Wells harbour are all nearby and there are also many bird reserves in the area. The village has a large general store, a pub, a fish and chip shop and a cafe. There is also a large playing field with a tennis court. This cosy cottage is quietly situated on the edge of the village. It retains many original features and is pleasantly and simply furnished throughout, providing a warm and welcoming base from which to explore the area. Shop: 0.5 miles Pub: .75 mile

Westward Ho! is a short drive away and with 2 miles of sandy beach is ideal for swimming or surfing. Places to visit in the area include Felbrigg Hall, which is just one mile away and also nearby Blickling Hall. For ornithologists the bird reserves at Cley, Blakeney and Scolt Head are within easy driving distance. There is a pub, shop and petrol station two miles away. The Roost has been skilfully converted, enjoying a quiet rural setting adjoining the 18th century cottage home of the owner in Lower Gresham.
