Enchanting Tintagel is close by with its famous castle steeped in legend and mystery. A little further along the coast are the picturesque harbour villages of Boscastle and Port Isaac. A twenty minute walk through the valley brings you to the fabulous golden sands of tidal Trebarwith Strand and a short drive will find you at the popular beaches of Polzeath and Widemouth Bay. This spacious welcoming self-catering holiday home from home has a comfortable sitting room with wood burning stove. The attractive country kitchen /dining room with lovely oak beams leads to a sunny conservatory with the most stunning views. The stylish master bedroom has wonderful valley and sea views. Stairs lead down to the pretty twin room and single room, all served by a wood panelled family bathroom. A small annex, accessed internally through the twin room, provides a second twin bedroom with the benefit of an en suite shower room and galley kitchen, ideal for families. This part of the house also has its own separate entrance door and the internal connecting door can be locked if required. On the garden level a games room with table tennis and pool table is a real bonus and will keep the children happy for hours! French windows in the conservatory lead out to the lovely enclosed south facing terraced gardens, with pretty patio area and pond where you can make the most of the spectacular sunsets over the rugged coastline. Trevalley is ideally placed for a holiday in North Cornwall and for exploring all that this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty has to offer .

Owl House is an old shippen, providing holiday accommodation in the quiet hamlet of Treneague in Cornwall.

It stands in the grounds of a 17th century cottage but is not overlooked. French windows lead to a secluded terrace with fig trees and yuccas, enclosed by dry stonework. With only the sound of owls at night it is a tranquil place.

There are walks from the front door, and glimpses of nuthatches and woodpeckers.

Minutes away in Wadebridge, bikes can be hired for cycling to Padstow, Rick Stein's restaurants, and wonderful coastal walks.

Swimming and surfing, both sides of the estuary, are within 20 minutes by car. Many other attractions - The Lost Gardens of Heligan, the Eden Project and Tate St Ives are within easy reach. In autumn and winter, the white sandy beaches are deserted, and walkers and birdwatchers have the woods and sea walks to themselves.
