It has been lovingly renovated and includes many original and interesting features. Situated in an area of major historical interest with Carn Euny an ancient monument being within walking distance. In fact the public footpath to the site is adjacent to the farmland. Carn Euny shows the remains of a 2000 year old iron age settlement. There are also many other ancient wonders nearby such as standing stones and stone circles and fogou (a Cornish cave). Beaches on the north or south coasts are 5 miles away including Sennen Cove Gwenver and Marazion to name but a few (good surfing at Sennen and Gwenver). The fishing harbour at Newlyn is also worth a visit as is the open-air theatre at Porthcurno. Lands End itself is within easy reach as is the larger town of Penzance with its many shops pubs and restaurants as well as the huge number of family theme parks and attractions. Also a short drive away are several pubs serving good food. There are BHS approved riding stables and pony trekking within easy reach. The accommodation offers THREE bedrooms: all upstairs 1 four-poster double 1 twin room with 2 6 beds and 1 single.
