Accommodation overview: A traditional listed Cornish cottage with glimpses of the sea and St Michaels Mount from upstairs, set in a pretty little walled and gated front garden close to the 14th century Parish Church at Madron, a few minutes drive from the attractive town of Penzance.
A low stable door opens under heavy blooms of wisteria in summer, directly into a charming beamed living room which spans the whole width of the cottage, with a massive open granite hearth at one end. At the rear of the cottage is a well equipped neat kitchen with some fitted units, and a bathroom W.C. with hand basin and bath with shower attachment. A glazed back door opens to a private and sunny garden fully enclosed which can be seen from the kitchen window.
In one corner of the sitting room, cottage stairs twist up to two appealing pleasantly furnished bedrooms with double and twin beds respectively. Both are carpeted and have low windows set into thick walls with window seats and a distant view between the rooftops below of the glinting waters of Mounts Bay. Steep stairs make this property unsuitable for toddlers and the elderly may also have difficulty.
Madron has a village pub which serves food. Penzance and Mounts Bay with extensive shops and beaches are under 10 minutes drive and the Isles of Scilly are easily accessible via the ferry service. It is possible to park on the road outside the cottage and there is a free village car park 75 yards away.

Bonython Estate Gardens, which guests are welcome to explore, comprises some 20 acres with a recently renovated walled garden and potager and a hidden valley with three small lakes. The gardens are rated as one of 'The Great Gardens of Cornwall' and given a star in the 'Good Garden Guide'. Bonython Estate is a traditional, mixed agricultural Cornish estate with ancient manor, farm and woodland stretching almost from one side of the Peninsula (the Helford River) to the other (the beach at Poldhu Cove) with both shores just over a mile away.

Accommodation overview: An attractively renovated traditional terraced cottage in a quiet village lane in the heart of Mylor Bridge.
Entered from the lane via two granite steps into a pretty slate floored lobby with glazed roof which has a useful cloaks area leading to a bathroom W.C. with hand basin and shower over the bath to one side. From the lobby an inner door opens to the dining area of an L shaped kitchen fitted with Maple units. A step down leads into a light and pretty sitting room with an electric fire in the hearth.
Stairs wind up from the dining area to two cottage bedrooms, a double and a twin bedded room, both with corner basins and views across the village gardens. Across the lane is a parking space for one car and further free parking in the nearby car park. There are gated steps up to a very pretty flat lawned garden which is not totally pet proof and very young children will require supervision.
The pub, small shops and Mylor's tidal creek are only a couple of minutes walk away, the Pandora Inn and Mylor Harbour, where there is a marina and boat hire, is 2 miles and Falmouth is 5 miles.

Accommodation overview: A cosy traditional double-fronted stone built cottage near the centre of St Agnes within easy walking distance of local shops, pubs and restaurants, and only half a mile from the sandy surfing beach at Trevaunance Cove. The cottage has great character and interesting origins taking its name from the now empty Rocket House next door, from which the maroons were fired to summon the life boat men to give assistance for those in distress along the coast.
Entered directly from the road into a tiny central hallway, there is a sitting room on one side with a glazed door leading to a small enclosed courtyard garden at the rear and on the other side a dining room, both rooms have low windows and are comfortably furnished. Beyond the dining room is a small fitted kitchen and at the other end a lobby and a bathroom W.C. with hand basin and shower over the bath.
Cottage stairs lead up from the dining room to a landing and three pleasant bedrooms, two at the front, a double and one with twin beds, the third bedroom at the rear with a kingsize double and an en-suite shower room W.C. with hand basin.
The pretty south facing courtyard garden has a patio area set in green slate chippings and access to a gated side lane. There are no parking restrictions on the road outside.
