Accommodation overview: Just five minutes drive from the Eden Project and the South West Coast Path at Charlestown, this newly refurbished quaint little cottage is set in the peaceful village of Tregrehan Mills opposite the local playing field with views to farmland beyond. Attached to the owners own granite house, the cottage is small but comfortable and benefits from double glazing and oil central heating, well situated and within easy reach by car of a number of attractive beaches and picturesque harbours.
The front door opens directly into a pleasantly light sitting/dining room with natural exposed stonework on one wall, a two seater settee, stove effect electric heater and small dining suite. At the rear, a glazed door leads into a bright, fully fitted kitchen with a door opening to a private and sheltered suntrap patio garden.
Carpeted stairs go up from the sitting room to a gallery bedroom with a double bed set under the sloping ceiling and views of the countryside. To complete the accommodation, there is an en-suite bathroom W.C. with wash basin, heated towel rail and hand shower fitment to the bath. The owner will provide a washing / drying service on request and there is off road parking for one car.
It is an easy walk to the Britannia Inn, half a mile, where they serve food and have a large pub garden, and there is a post office store in Bethel about one mile away. For a wider selection of amenities, St Austell, 2 miles, has a range of shops, pubs, supermarkets, a leisure centre and cinema. The Eden Project is a 30 minute walk or 5 minutes by car or alternatively there is a local bus service that operates from the village to the Eden Project, St Austell and Newquay.
The property is within a 10 minute drive of several beaches including Porthpean, Par Sands and Polkerris and there are various golf courses nearby, the nearest at Carlyon Bay, 2.5 miles. Lanhydrock House and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are within a 20 minute drive, as are the harbour villages of Charlestown, Fowey and Mevagissey. Tregadjack Barn is an enchanting, 'upside-down', detached, local Cornish stone holiday cottage elegantly furnished with antiques. It is in a private, tranquil setting within 20 acres. Nearby is the pretty harbour of Porthleven which offers a host of excellent restaurants and pubs, also a super fishmongers and crab shop, or why not catch your own on a fishing trip?
The Barn lies a quarter of a mile down its own lane (which it shares with the owners next door). There are fine views across rolling farmland adjacent to Cornwall's Trevarno Estate and Gardens.
Tregadjack Barn is ideally located for visiting all the great Cornish gardens - Heligan, Trebah, Eden, Glendurgan and Trelissick. This part of Cornwall has plenty to offer, with St Ives, Penzance, Truro and The Helford River all within a 20 to 40 minute drive.
An ideal UK golf and outdoor break, Tregadjack Barn is centrally placed to access all the very best surfing, sailing, diving and golfing destinations that Cornwall has to offer and of course is well placed to walk a different stretch of the coastal path each day with field walks from the garden gate. Take a nostalgic ride on the restored Helston Railway which will stop for you at the bottom of the garden.

Completely renovated with slate flooring throughout downstairs and furnished with a restful decor, perfect for a peaceful quiet holiday.
Entered via a glazed front door into a wide hallway, a door leads off to a comfortably furnished, light and airy sitting room with a sheltered pleasant outlook down the valley. On the opposite side of the hall are a cloakroom W.C. with hand basin, and a fully fitted kitchen / dining room with pale coloured units and coordinating dining suite.
Upstairs are three bedrooms, a king-size 6ft double with one easy chair overlooking the river leading down to the harbour mouth, two twin bedded rooms, one with vanity basin, and bathroom W.C. with hand basin and shower fitment over the bath. Accessed from the kitchen and living room, French doors open to a charming and spacious walled patio, ideal for evening barbecues.
It is possible to unload outside the property, but parking is in the car park 200 yards away. Shops, pubs and the harbour are all within easy level walking distance, the coastal footpath is close at hand and the beaches of Trebarwith Strand and Crackington Haven are about 5 miles respectively.

Accommodation overview: Only two miles inland from Talland Bay on the picturesque South Coast and three miles from the historic fishing villages of Looe and Polperro, this light and spacious single storey cottage adjacent to The Owl, is converted from a farm building in the small hamlet of Ashen Cross just outside the village of Pelynt.
Approached by a short drive, The Court is entered from a small enclosed courtyard garden which backs on to fields at the rear of the cottage. The front door opens into an open-plan living room with a pine ceiling and French doors to the private fully enclosed garden and patio at the rear. There are comfortable sitting and dining areas and an attractive well fitted kitchen area with a slate floor.
To complete the accommodation, there is a bedroom with a king size bed and an en-suite shower room W.C. with hand basin and walk-in shower. The owners also invite visitors to explore their private gardens of two acres including two fresh water lakes of half an acre, with a summer house where visitors can watch the activities of the birds and wildlife that inhabit this lakeside environment. The parking area has ample space for a car and boat trailer and there is a shared laundry room in the courtyard.
The village of Pelynt, half a mile, has a pub which offers food, small shops, post office and a church. The south facing beach and coastal footpath at Talland Bay is two miles and the area is surrounded by woodland with forest trails and picnic areas. The Eden Project is within a 30 minute drive.
