Port Isaac and Padstow are approximately 19 miles from Padstow quayside you can enjoy a bite to eat at one of the many cafes or bars including TV chef Rick Stein s bistro or restaurant. You can also catch the passenger ferry over the estuary to the beautiful sandy beach at Rock. There is so much to see and do in this glorious area of North Cornwall including the National Trust property at Lanhydrock and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. For visitors who want to stay closer to home less than a 5 minute drive is the historic Jamaica Inn made famous by Daphne Du Maurier s novel of the same name where you can enjoy good food and a drink or two. Alternatively The Old Inn at St Breward is well worth a visit. This spacious detached cottage offers ONE bedroom: with 1 double and 1 single bed. Bathroom: with hand-held shower attachment and WC. On the ground floor is a beamed L-shaped living room and a bathroom / W.C. with shower over the bath and heated towel rail. From the living room a door opens to a patio area at the rear, an ideal spot for sundowners whilst watching the sun go down over the ocean.
There is a gate giving access to the paddock area. Upstairs are two bedrooms with sea views - double and twin beds respectively. If a cot is required the maximum number of people that can be accommodated has to be reduced to three.
