Accommodation overview: Netherton Farm is set in a small peaceful hamlet in a secluded valley surrounded by five acres of beautiful farm and woodland, seven miles from Salcombe in one direction and Dartmouth slightly further in the other. This area is a haven for birds and wildlife and a favourite for walkers (with or without a four-legged friend!) and cyclists. All guests at Netherton have use of the owners fabulous heated outdoor swimming pool (from May until early October, weather permitting) as well as access to the large communal grassed area.Boxtree Barn is a delightful stone and wood-clad cottage, presented to an excellent modern standard whilst retaining many original features. This recently converted, pet friendly barn has a new and fresh feel, the highlight of which is the stunning open plan living accommodation with high vaulted ceiling, glass-panelled staircase and large woodburning stove. Accommodation overview: 150 YEAR OLD FISHERMAN S COTTAGE 2 BALCONIES WITH HARBOUR VIEWS Nestling in one of Britain s most beautiful harbours and situated at the southernmost end of Torbay this pretty fisherman s cottage offers a unique holiday experience. There are panoramic views of the harbour and marina from every floor and a large balcony where you can sit back and relax overlooking the bustling old fish quay. You will be a stone s throw away from the harbour where there are a multitude of boats offering pleasure or fishing trips to visitors an array of colourful cottages and numerous seafood restaurants cafes shops and pubs. The English Riviera offers some of the best beaches in the country with sheltered bays coves and rock pools and is the perfect arena to watch or partake in any number of water sports including scuba diving and sailing. You will also be within a short drive to Torquay where you ll find the palm-lined promenade seafront gardens a lively harbour and an international marina. There are many attractions to suit all tastes including Brixham Heritage Museum Kents Cavern Babbacombe Model Village Kingswear/Dartmouth (10 minutes drive) and much more. Set on 4 floors and entered on the second floor the accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: large master on the third floor with a vanity basin double bed TV and fabulous views of the harbour and marina. 1 twin room on the top floor and approached via winding stairs (children beware) with low wooden beams and balcony with spectacular views to the breakwater lifeboat station and the inner and outer harbours. Bathroom: on the third floor with shower over bath and WC. Downstairs WC. Lounge: located downstairs offers a TV/DVD and french doors to a decked balcony. Kitchen/diner: open-plan with cooker fridge/freezer microwave TV CD and extra seating to enjoy the picturesque harbour view. Outside: large decked balcony area with garden furniture. Amenities: parking is limited to unloading due to narrow streets but there is free roadside parking usually available 5 minutes walk away. Set on the edge of the peaceful village of Lee Bay it offers breathtaking scenery and cliff-top coastal walks with unrivalled scenery from your front door. You will be a 10 minutes drive from the popular long sandy beaches of Woolacombe and Croyde. The location is also perfect for exploring the Tarka Cycling Trail a little further on is the National Trust area of Heddons Mouth and on to the wild expanses of Exmoor. It is great for dog walking romantic evening strolls and rambling. When the tide is out Lee Bay reveals a sandy beach ideal for the children offering swimming canoeing rock pooling mermaids and even pirates have been rumoured to have been seen!
