On the first floor a good sized landing acts as a useful study area with desk and leads to a large bedroom with characterful sloping ceiling and amazing views from a Juliette style balcony towards the estuary. Thatcher’s Leggett is a lovely stone cottage nestling in the grounds of the owners own beautiful 16th century thatched Devon Longhouse, just a few minutes stroll from the village centre and path leading to fabulous Croyde Bay. Perfect for keen walkers, there is also a bridleway / footpath leading from the doorstep all the way to the stunning beach at Putsborough around 20 minutes away. The light, bright and spacious open plan living room with kitchen and dining area boasts a high vaulted ceiling, comfy seating and a wood burning stove, making it the cosiest of retreats at any time of year. An attractive twin bedroom is also situated on the ground floor together with a modern bathroom. From the entrance hallway a smart wooden staircase runs up to the mezzanine floor with a spacious galleried bedroom and ensuite cloakroom. Eclectic styling, sloping ceiling and lovely views over the surrounding countryside from the Velux style windows make this a really special room.
