If you do wish to venture further from this wonderful property you will find yourself ideally positioned for exploring the rugged scenery of Dartmoor the public footpath which the farm offers and also the Granite Cycle way which runs right through the middle of the farm with easy cycling for all ages (bike hire can be arranged 0.5 miles away). You will be perfectly positioned for touring both Devon and Cornwall with easy access to the A30. You will have a choice of sandy beaches to the north and south as well as attractions such as Meldon and Roadford reservoirs for walking and fishing National Trust properties The Eden Project (60 minutes drive) and horse riding can be found locally. There are two local pubs within 1 mile of the property serving food. The town of Okehampton offers visitors the opportunity to step back in time with a visit to the ruins of Okehampton castle or play a few holes on the golf course or swimming in the new local indoor leisure complex.
