Sat above the beautiful beach of South Sands, we are pleased to offer this double fronted period property that offers extensive coastal, rural and sea views. Facing south west the property has views over the estuary entrance towards Prawle Point.
Beaches are a plenty with both North and South Sands a short walk from the property. On the other side of the estuary, slightly further afield, easily reached by passenger ferry, are the beaches of East Portlemouth, Mill Bay and Sunny Cove. Coastal paths in all directions leading towards some superb cliff scenery.
South Sands, our closest, is one of the most unspoilt beaches in South Devon. It’s a Blue Flag beach located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with a family friendly Sea Kayaking business and beach cafe together with “ eat in “ experience at The South Sands Hotel. Overbecks, the beautiful National Trust tropical Garden is close by too.
Further afield The Dartmouth Steam Railway and Riverboat company provide a range of services from Dartmouth, that run across the South West
For those not wishing to travel too far, Salcombe offers a selection of pubs and restaurants, many serving fresh fish, alongside local meats and locally produced beer.

You are able to walk, pony trek( two and a half miles away) or fish on the half mile stretch of licensed river right on your doorstep. Brendon village just under a mile away has a good village inn and nearby Oare has tearooms and a gift shop. The popular twin towns of Lynton and Lynmouth on the coastal edge of Exmoor are just a short four mile drive away and offer a great selection of craft shops, galleries and restaurants.
