Holidaying in Appledore allows you to relinquish reliance on the car with a regular bus service leading along the coast and to North Devon s hub towns. The traditional Victorian seaside village of Westward Ho! is easily reached and enjoys England s oldest golf course Royal North Devon that cris-crosses the Northam Burrows Country Park and is protected by the naturally occurring Pebble Ridge that runs the length of this two mile golden sandy beach.
