Based just off the border of Devon and Cornwall and a couple of miles from the A39 that links the North Devon and North Cornwall coasts makes this a great property for touring this extremely popular region. From the property there are several miles of riverside and woodland walks to the coast of Marsland Mouth ideal for walkers. There is also a local riding stables in the village which caters for all ages and abilities. 3 miles away is the 13th Century pub the Bush Inn that has built up a good reputation locally for its restaurant and locally produced ales. The town of Bude is within easy reach and offers an extensive selection of restaurants shops indoor swimming pool as well as four breathtaking beaches for all to explore. The popular destinations of Tintagel filled with the myth and legend of King Arthur and his round table knights and the quaint fishing village of Boscastle are scattered along this coastline to name but a few of the many must see spots. Accommodation overview: A semi detached cottage set within a small hamlet about 2 miles from the coast at Pentewan which can be reached by car or by cycle path alongside the river. Set to one side of the Mevagissey road and fronted by a small but very pretty walled and gated garden it is entered via a side path to a service courtyard at one side.
A door opens directly into a small fitted kitchen with a glazed door leading into an attractive beamed sitting / dining room with comfortable seating and a fireplace with an electric fire at the further end.
Open tread stairs go directly up to the first floor where there is a bathroom W.C. with hand basin, bath and shower cubicle and a bedroom with a double bed. A traditional staircase continues up to the top floor and a delightful bedroom with a 4ft double bed. There is a useful shed for bike and beach gear storage.
A small shop about 150 yards away has long opening hours during the season There is a bistro restaurant in the village and a pub a short walk away. Pentewan village about 2 miles has a pub, restaurant and small shops. Ideally situated for touring the County, the cottage is approximately midway between the Lost Gardens of Heligan and The Eden Project, with beaches and golf courses within easy reach.
On one side of the valley between London Apprentice and Pentewan is the beautiful and ancient Kings Wood popular with walkers and cyclists. St Austell 2 miles has a leisure centre, shops and cinema and its main line railway station and bus terminus can be easily accessed from a bus stop at London Apprentice. The picturesque harbours of Mevagissey and Charlestown are approximately 4 miles.

Accommodation overview: Fantastic views over open countryside, in a great location for exploring and getting to the coast at Wells and Burnham Overy Staithe, The Chatters will not disappoint and you will be ohhhh so comfy. Sculthorpe is located just one mile from the market town of Fakenham and eight miles from the popular North Norfolk Coast. The village has a fabulous fenland nature reserve, which is home to the Hawk and Owl Trust; the whole site is accessed via a Boardwalk and is a super place to observe a wide variety of bird and wildlife. Burnham Market and Holkham are easily accessible and Fakenham offers a variety of shopping opportunities, a very good weekly market, cinema and bowling centre. The village has two pubs both of which serve good food. National Cycle Route 2 runs through the village and the surrounding quiet lanes, eventually ending at Wells-next-the-Sea. The Chatters is a modern, deceptively spacious property with extensive views over farmland to the rear. Extremely well equipped and comfortable, the accommodation is light and airy and very appealing. Sculthorpe is well serviced by the Coast Hopper bus which will take you from King's Lynn to Wells.
