The property is arranged on one floor and one step leads up to the paved patio where you access the property through the large French windows. The entrance is straight into a cosy but well furnished and equipped lounge/kitchen/ diner. Nestling in a rural setting the converted loft is a few hundred yards walk from the village which has a 12th century pub whilst the Saints Way passes the property and offers excellent walking. The market town of Lostwithiel is close with shops restaurants and pubs as well as Restormel Castle which overlooks the River Fowey and makes a pleasant location for a picnic. The beautiful harbour of Fowey is also within easy reach where the renowned author Daphne Du Maurier lived. A festival is held each May which is a celebration of her life and work. Fowey Regatta week (August) is a popular event with competitive sailing events street carnival the Red Arrows display team and much more. The picturesque and unspoilt harbour of Charlestown is also worth a visit.
